Very tasty, worth every penny!
I would definitely say that this Matcha is worth the price. After having a run in with some that wasnt entirely drinkable, which I later learned was culinary, I decided to try again. I bought Vernal's Organic Ceremonial Matcha and I'm sure that once I'm out, I'll buy the same again. It wasn't in the slightest bit bitter or grainy, having dissolved quite well. The color was a bight, vibrant green and the earthy tones in the taste was magnificent. For anyone interested in trying Matcha Green Tea, this is quite the safe direction to go.

Love this in the morning.
I use this in the mornings. Most times I use a small foamer to stir it but when I feel like pampering myself I use the whisk that comes with the Ceremony Gift Set I also purchased.

Extremely bitter
Very, very bitter. It seemed to be fine at first, but it has a very bitter finish. The color was a dull, olive green. I've tried other ceremonial grade matcha and they are much brighter in color and have almost no bitterness. On a side note, i did not receive the recipe booklet. Overall, I do not recommend this.

I love this stuff
I have a new favorite tea. I love knowing that I'm getting health benefits from drinking this, but I also love the euphoric feeling that it gives me. Nothing like the normal jitteriness that comes from drinking coffee or tea. I'm glad I found out about this stuff.

Five Stars
Love it. Even better when you add Gigi berries.😀

only okay
it's not bright green like other ceremonial matchas and doesn't taste quite as good. My ceremonial matcha from David's tea is better quality.

like Tealyra, DOmatcha
An appealing price for "organic ceremonial" matcha, but not worth it if you are looking for a high quality drinking matcha. It is not the quality/taste/color of other ceremonial grades I've had, like Tealyra, DOmatcha, Aiya. Usually the cermeonial matchas are bright green and have a clean vegetal/grassy flavor. The color of this one is olive green, and tastes a bit more bitter--more like a culinary grade. Its expiration date given is over a year and a half out, and I keep matcha sealed in the fridge or freezer, so it shouldn't have been due to spoilage although it is loose in the sealed can instead of packaged inside the can as others are. This brand is from China, not Japan. I'm not sure if it is a fluke, or a difference in plants, growing conditions or processing, but the only other time I've been disappointed in a ceremonial matcha, it too came from China. The best I've had are from Japan. I have no affiliation with any tea company.

Disappointing matcha.
What a disappointment this tea was! When I opened it I expected to see that bright green color and smell that freshness that good Matcha has but no! The color was off, more brown than green and no fresh grassy smell. The taste was disappointing as well. Far too expensive for what I got. I won't be ordering again.
