This book covers the material that was on the praxis exam. I would say to know the material try and understand, instead of memorizing. A lot of the questions are comprehensive, and many of the questions are designed to choose as “the best answer”. It was worth it!

The study guide is very useful and detailed. It is a great refresher on graduate studies taken years ago. I will definitely recommend to future school counselors who will need to take the praxis ii. You will not regret buying this product.

I have used Mometrix' Praxis Preparations in the past and have always found them helpful and high quality. I have frequently encouraged my colleagues looking to expand their licensure areas to use Mometrix. Now, certified in the 8 fields, I am looking to expand my qualifications by becoming a certified Professional School Counselor. Although I have only just begun reviewing, I can already tell that this is the exact study companion I need in order to ensure that I not just meet the certification requirements, but excel!

I really liked the study skills and secrets to studying. I will not be taking this test for another year, however, I wanted to start studying now little by little. I appreciate the breakdown of theories, group sessions, and differences.. From my standpoint and thumbing through all the pages, it includes all of the topics that I have heard that is on the test.

So I ordered this book because as most people on here, I wanted a study guide for my Praxis II. I'm currently pursuing my Master's in School Counseling and completing my internship. My expected graduation date is in May 2018. I struggle with test anxiety. I'm currently a teacher and in my undergrad years I struggled with passing the Praxis 1 but after multiple attempts, I finally passed. I did not want to have the same problem this time. I took the School Counseling Praxis 2 in January 2017 and failed by 6 points. Afterwards I was determined I would pass the second try, so I ordered this book due to good reviews. I read this book cover to cover and loved the tips it had for people like me with test anxiety. I went back to take it again October 2017 and PASSED!
