Product description Review: A little sweeter than sugar - I really like this product. I mix it with 80% water and 20% juice to create a juicy and sweet drink in lieu of pop. Have lost 10 lbs so far, just drinking less pop. Although it states it measures and tastes like sugar, I think it is a little sweeter than sugar. I followed directions for a butter cream frosting; adding my confectionate swerve instead of sugar, excessively sweet for me. And I have used a very similar recipe previously with powdwered sugar and it was fine. I also made the cake with swerve and it, too, was way to sweet. My best advice would be if a recipe calls for 3 cups of sugar, use 2 1/2 Cups instead. I would much rather have the recipe less sweet as opposed to sickening sweet. Also, I found the need to store open bag in the fridge, keeps it fresh and keeps it from hardening. If it does harden, try putting a piece of bread to the bag, like real sugar, it should soften up. I noticed that a review stated that swerve is lethal for dog consumption. However I googled it and although it could cause gas and possible diarrhea, it is NOT fatal to either cats or dogs, unless goggle has it wrong. I would highly recommend this product. There is absolutely no after taste. It is a little costly when you get into the baking, especially for frostings when recipes require 4cups of sugar. But I can’t wait to try it in cookies. I hope this helps Review: 0 glycemic load - This stuff is great and doesn't prompt an insulin response. One thing, though - it's sweeter than sugar, so I would cut back on recipes. For instance, if your recipe calls for 1 c. of sugar, use 3/4 c. of Swerve. The brown sugar is also sweeter. Love the brown sugar on oatmeal! Made blueberry muffins with the granular, which called for 1 cup of sugar; they were sweet and the next time I will cut it down. All in all, a most excellent product.

Good sugar replacement
Good sugar replacement measures like sugar and has good sweet taste a bit pricey

Edible
This is the best sugar substitute I've tried so far. I tried Splenda Stevia and Lakanto Monk Fruit. I couldn't tolerate them. They were both too sweet and had the artificial aftertaste. Swerve has a sweetness similar to granulated sugar and no aftertaste. The taste difference to sugar was a little noticeable in the beginning. It took about a few days to get used to it and then it was fine. I did not get an upset stomach like some other reviewers. I only use it in my coffee and ice tea.

Great Sugar Substitute
This is a great sugar substitute. Doesn’t have the bitter after taste of Stevia and off flavor & risks of other non-sugar sweeteners . Great for a keto or low carb diet… especially for morning coffee when you don’t want to break your fast.

Sweet and NO After taste
Swerve doesn't quite measure up to equal parts of sugar, but it's very close. In my opinion, there is no after taste. It does dissolve quicker than sugart. I'll be reordering again in the near future!

Best sweetener yet
Easy to use, just a little more sweet than other products so you make need to adjust your measurements, otherwise it's 1:1 same as sugar. One plus for me is that it doesn't cause the digestive problems that some other sweeteners do.

Great taste, zero calories, weird effect on digestive system
This is the only sugar replacement that I've tried that tastes like sugar, with no artificial or odd aftertaste. I have mostly used it as a sugar replacement in drinks (tea, lemonade) with satisfactory results. However, it does have a irritable effect on my stomach. My digestive system is pretty sturdy, but Swerve leaves me with a slight queasiness.
