123s of Art (Sabrina Hahn's Art & Concepts for Kids) Board book – Picture Book, April 21, 2020

Very few things are as joyful as watching your child fill up with a sense of wonder and delight upon discovering something new. Knowing how my daughter enthusiastically dove into ABCs of Art day in and day out, I had to get Sabrina Hahn's second book! She has not put 123s of Art down since it arrived! From its gorgeous hardbound cover to the playful and charming rhymes, this book is filled with so much to engage and stimulate my daughter's budding curiosity. I love the eclectic collection of artwork included in this book - from iconic pieces to works from lesser known artists representing a variety of mediums, periods and cultures. 123s of Art is expertly thought out and beautifully curated. Together with ABCS of Art, it's the perfect entree into the wonderful world of art!

The sturdiness of this book cannot be understated. It's heavy and thick. It feels like a work of art in and of itself. It makes a great display piece on a front facing bookcase. As for the contents, I truly love being able to introduce my kids to classic art in a simple format.

I can't recommend this book series enough! It's an excellent way to make art appreciation more interactive. There is a little symbol on each page with dialogic reading prompts conversation about each piece of art and relates it back to math. This was purchased for an early childhood education center, and the teachers love it!

The book is larger than I expected and included numbers from 1 to 20. The paintings are wonderful and look great. The book is excellent for young children who are familiar with the numbers and now are learning to count objects—readers are asked to find the objects in the painting corresponding to the number on the page. What a clever way to get children to explore the details of an art work while learning to count!!A beautiful gift!!

I have bought both the ABCs and 123s of ART and they are PERFECT for the classroom! I am a preschool art teacher and the books have been the perfect supplement to my different age group lessons. The three year olds are just beginning to become exposed to the world of “artist” so this has been wonderful. The four and five year olds are enjoying the connections between the alphabet and numbers to the different artists and works of art that they are really starting to recognize and remember! So much fun!

This book is in my go to list for baby shower gifts. I like to give books early and focus on art and design. This is a well designed little book that seems very durable. My mamas always love it.

Wonderful, well made books. So glad I purchased the whole set for my grandchildren. Creative, engaging, colorful, well thought out. Every page stimulates fun engaging conversations for many ages. Art should do that and whoever came up with this set of books I highly commend. A breath of fresh air as I am always looking for quality children's books.
