Lion Brand Yarn Mandala Ombré Yarn with Vibrant Colors, Soft Yarn for Crocheting and Knitting, Harmony, 1-Pack

This is the first yarn “cake” I’ve had the pleasure of working with. The cake of yarn is smaller than I thought it would be, but I started a blanket with this yarn, not sure what to expect. I’m very pleased with the softness of the yarn and ease of working with. I wish each yarn cake had more yards in it, but I love working with this yarn. I started out with 2 and then bought 4 more of the same color. This yarn is a little lighter than I expected, but is working up great. It’s beautiful, the way the color seems hand dyed.I couldn’t find the end strand in the center, so I’m having to work from the outside, but not a big deal. Will probably be buying again. It’s definitely worth the price and will make a good warm blanket.

Soooo Beautiful! The colors are even prettier in person. It was a pleasure to knit a very soft, oversized throw for my granddaughter to take to college in September. I told her that now she can be wrapped in grandma’s love!! The yarn is very soft, silky, not scratchy. I loved knitting with it. Even though it is size 4 medium worsted, it’s thinner than other size 4 worsted yarns I've used. I find that all size 4 worsteds are not the same thickness. I used a pattern that was written for this Lion Brand Mandala, and the guage was perfect. Mandala is gorgeous. It’s amazing how it self stripes. There are sometimes a few tiny knots in the skeins, where the yarn was joined during precessing. I just cut the yarn and joined the yarn as you would join any yarn. This hardly occurred and was not a problem. I have not washed and dried it, but the instructions say that you can machine wash and dry, which is great!!

I bought this Lion Brand yarn to knit a scarf, and I couldn’t be happier with it! The texture is soft and smooth, with just the right amount of stretch, making it super easy to work with—even for someone who isn’t a knitting pro. The color is vibrant and exactly as pictured, which will make my finished scarf pop.What I really appreciate is how consistent the yarn is—no weird knots or fraying in the skein. It glides effortlessly on my needles, and I can already tell the scarf is going to be warm and snuggly, perfect for winter.Highly recommend this yarn for anyone working on scarves, hats, or any other cozy project. I’ll definitely be buying more in other colors!

I made a blanket with this yarn. It’s so beautiful and I love the color change. I can’t wait to try the purple to make a cardigan. It’s worth the money. It’s thin but it’s what I wanted it to be.

Beautiful yarn colors! Came out as almost denim colors. Great quality and easy to work with too. The Yarn is tough to break and works best with a medium size hook. I would highly recommend this product and I will be back for more purchases in the future.
