This is a good, neutral mat to put in the bottom of your shower or tub. I would give it 5 stars, but I'm taking off one star because the title is rather misleading: It should say "Deluxe loofah-style RUBBER shower mat with eight suction cups." I read the fine print before purchase so I knew this was not a true loofah material, but you must wade through the entire description to understand the actual material. That said, the material is perfectly fine, happily not plastic, and with no outgassing odors. The suction cups work well - you have to try hard to get this thing to slide. Despite the beige appearance in the Amazon photo, this item is a true white that will match white bathroom items, and not clash with any other colors. The surface is pleasant for feet and even to sit on in the bottom of the tub. It's nice that the water just drains through it - no puddles sitting on top. You still want to rinse it and hang it up after a bath, though. Overall very pleased - just please be straightforward in the marketing!

I love this mat. I am a senior and have ankle and foot problems and need something comfortable and something to make me feel safe while standing in the shower. I have tried numerous mats and all of them had too many suction cups on the bottom which was very uncomfortable. This mat only has them along the sides, so it worked perfectly. Also love the feel of the loofah on the bottom of my feet. I feel it helps to remove dried skin on my soles. I recommend rinsing off and hanging from the shower wall to prevent mildew. If you do need to clean mildew, just fill tub with warm/hot water and add some bleach. Let sit for an hour and rinse then dry.

If you have a textured floor in your bathtub or shower, the small suction cups will not grip sufficiently to prevent the mat from slipping, which could result in a dangerous fall.

Love these mats in the shower. Bed and Bath stopped carrying them so I was pleased when Amazon offered them. The water goes through the mats and even stops hair from going down the drain so you can put it in the garbage. The only maintenance I have done is to wash them in the washing machine.

I would not recommend buying this. I had it in my shower & it slipped out from under me. I ended up on my back and I hit my head so hard my husband was worried I had a concussion.

This thing is awesome! Just got out of the shower and had to run ad write a review. I work on my feet alot and needless to say they can get funky. So when I heard of this thing, I had to try it.The best thing about it is I can clean my feet while cleaning my body. I just let the soap suds run down and scrub my feet while I'm washing my hair, or whatever else.I definitely recommend this loofah shower mat.To top it off, I am not scared of slipping and dying in the shower anymore lol ok maybe not dying, but slipping...it's a fear but I think more people die in the shower from slipping than by sharks and lighting per year, or something like that.Anyways, I love it. BUY it and Thank Me later!

The mat provides shower security as it absolutely does not slip and it provides good footing whilst showering. It is comfortable for arthritic feet and relatively easy to keep clean as long as it is lifted and adhered to the glass shower wall with handy built-in suction cups which allow it to efficiently drain and dry. W.hen this one wears out we will buy another. Excellent product.

I have osteoarthritis in my knee and it is hard for me to walk or stand on slippery surfaces such as a bathtub. The previous mat I owned had loads of suction cups on the bottom but for some reason they would not stick to the tub so after shampooing and washing with body wash, the mat was slipping all over the tub and I could not even lift my feet to wash them. When I got this mat, it was so stable, and felt good on the bottom of my feet, I feel so much more confident about showering that I do it more often than before because I had been afraid of falling and hurting myself. This product is a winner for me!!!!!!

Love the product. This was my first product bought through amazon and didn’t have anything to compare to but got the product in a relatively good timely manner and use it daily.
