This is a very nice cutter for model railroad track but it will get a notch in the blades if you try to cut hardened screws.

A good tool for track cutting.
Just received these for cutting N guage Peco code55 flex track. So far I have been rather impressed with the cuts made. No deformation of the track and no unsightly burrs preventing fishplate attachment. I cannot say how long they'll last but for now they have really made track laying easier and more precise.
