Effective and comfortable
I was tired of getting sun exposure while driving. This is nice to have on hand to be able to snap on when the sun is too much. It works well and has good coverage. It’s also comfortable, light-weight and adjustable. The best part is that you get to breathe fresh air due to the clever design of two tiers of fabric.

Breathable!!
I had Coolibar's earlier model of a sun mask and found it very uncomfortable to breath in. I still have it after a few years of use but I finally decided to seek out a more comfortable one. Thankfully this new version fits the bill. The 2 layers are only attached at the very ends. That means there's a gap between the layers that extend for most of the length. The top layer covers your nose, mouth and chin only. Since it's short, your breath can escape the mask easily. It doesn't cling to your nose, unless you're breathing really heavily like on a run. The bottom layer rests under the chin (or maybe just over the lower part of the chin depending on your size) and provides complete coverage for the neck area. The back has some snaps so you can snap it closed to keep it in place over your shoulders. Also comes with a carry pouch which is very convenient and where I also keep my Covid-19 masks, so I can easily switch between the 2 depending on the environment I'm in. I've jogged with this cover and I can't really imagine any other kind of covering being more comfortable. I do wish the 2 layers were attached with snaps which would make the neck layer detachable. Sometimes I prefer to wear a sun scarf so don't need the neck layer. Still, it's not a complaint, just a suggestion. Overall, a great quality and very comfortable sun mask.

Stylish mask/neck spf cover
Worked well in the car on very long drive for sun protection post laser treatment. Breathable, light weight, nice color.

Best design so far but needs work
I would buy it again and it's the best design in these SPF face coverings I have found. I ride a scooter 30+ mins a day in sunny Florida with a 3/4 helment and 90% UV face shield. Pluses: Can drink from Camelback! This was a deal breaker over those neck tube styles. It breaths really well. The neck tube styles made me feel like I was suffocating and made my glasses fog. Can wear with eyeglasses - I'm near sighted and even riding in rain storms I have not had a fog up. I thought that I would hate the over the ear strap but even with glasses on after some adjusting I didn't notice it. Minus: I have long, straight hair and a small head. My choice is take it to the last snap and pull it over my head leaving it loosish or snapping it in place around the back of my neck which does not work as one strand of hair will stop it from snapping in place. If you have a large head with long, bountiful curls I'm not sure how you'd get it on. Needs to be larger at neck with an adjustment like the ears currently have Culturally, people will look at you weird. Face coverings are not something most people in the US are used to. Going through the drive thru at the bank is probably a no go. It will leave lines on your face making you look like you were wearing science goggles. You do loose some visibility looking down - checking my speedometer takes more effort.

Cool and lightweight. Very breathable

Scratchy fabric
I have sensitive, sun reactive, skin. While this is good for sun protection, it's not so friendly to my sensitive skin. The fabric is scratchy and the ears loops begin to cause an ache after a while. Too bad for me.

Great for cycling! I can breathe!
I just got this layered mask and took it for a spin this morning. It works great! When I ride my bike I huff and puff and gasp like a fish on land. I was really hindered by all the other things I've tried: the buffs, balaclavas, face masks, bandanas... Or if I could breathe in those other things then I wasn't getting the sun protection or it just fell down and was useless. I did not have any trouble with it 'blowing' up. There were a couple of times when it did cause airflow issues. But just for a moment when I was huffing uphill and *really* gasping. I could breathe fine, though, and didn't feel compelled to reach up and rip it off like everything else I've tried. For the most part, it was perfect in that regard. I was pleased that my visibility wasn't hindered when I looked back for vehicles. It also gave all the coverage I'd hoped for from seeing the pictures. It doesn't give me ALL the coverage I want, but it's by far better than anything I've tried. The bottom layer can be under the chin or just below the mouth. It's very adjustable in the ear loops which aren't sewn onto the mask so they slide freely allowing you to adjust them very large or very small. I'm 5" 2" and proportionate and it fit okay. Could have been smaller and still fit fine. It probably would be even more perfect for someone with a larger head. Since the ear loops expose the ears, I still must wear a buff on top of my head, under my hat and helmet to cover my ears from sun. I'd love to see coolibar combine this layered face covering with their fishing mask style and include split layered sides for the helmet straps. I hope the pictures I've attached helps. I'm getting a second one for birding and hiking!

Poor design, cumulative pain, not for women
I trust that Coolibar's fabric provides the UV protection claimed, and I'll add that this item is well stitched. However, the cumulative pain you get around the ears is insufferable. I tried wearing the back strap in various positions, but it always, always hurts a lot after just one hour. It is not compatible with long and/or voluminous hair. It's a design for a typical short-haired man that was perhaps sized down for women, but it doesn't take into account how women groom. Heat also builds under the hood, so avoid this mask if you're heat sensitive. I don't understand why manufacturers assume we're doing wildly ambitious athletic activities in UV protection gear. I'd much rather buy something more blousy and comfortable so I can wear it while driving. I regret this purchase and wish I could return it.
