Sturdy and comfortable
My previous pair of these boots lasted me for several years after 3 other brands had failed after a few months. The new pair arrived very quickly and were comfortable from the start. No need to wear them in, I have been walking every day with them since they were delivered. Decent price too.

Excellent build quality and comfort
Used straight out of the box on an 11 mile walk in Cumbria, weather was terrible, but feet stayed very comfortable and warm, although a little damp inside from my socks, better overtrousers would have stopped that. The leather uppers are very soft and flexible, breathable easily cleaned. The sole gripped well in the wet, muddy conditions, absorbs the shocks of jumping about on the rocks well and with the cushioned inner you get a high quality boot and happy feet.

Nice fit, but painful after 2mins!
Boot seems nicely made and actually fitted well, which is unusual these days.But after 2 minutes of putting on, I was aware of a hard lump pressing into the ball of my right foot.On cloise inspection, I found that there are large semi-raised rivet heads inside the boot (see photo), and the one of the right boot was particularly painfull. Left one seemed fine, as it was not so raised, but may have casued discomfort if I'd worn them more than just a few minutes in the front room.Sadly, I had to return for refund. :-(

Great boots
I'm a postie in nw Scotland. I have had three pairs of the Cyrus shoes in the past two years. Bought these to fit better with waterproofs and gaiters. They were comfortable straight out of the box. I use these boots daily to walk 8 miles and drive 100 miles on a rural post route. My shoes get a hammering. They never leak, the stiching stays good, the laces are even good. I wear the soles out, that is all. They only last 560 miles of walking combined with 28000 miles driving. š

I have had the shoe version for several years and worn them extensively. The boot is, if anything, more comfortable and required no breaking in.
