Ryan's Mystery Playdate in a box!
Got a kid who loves watching either Ryan's Toys or Ryan's Mystery Playdate, the you know the drill! This is Ryan's World Playdate Mystery Box Multicolour...but mostly blue ha. It measures a whopping approx 35 x 35cm cube, that opens out to be 12.7 x 11.43 x 35.56cm after putting a shift in.First appearance it is a big blue cube with lots of buttons and knobs on that are numbered. This could be fun, so bring in the 3 year old...Firstly unwrap the cellophane carefully, then remove the card label that is taped on. Once this is done simply follow the numbers on the box...Number 1 slide the slider that reveals a side compartment and surprise blind bag.Number 2 turn this and it will pop open a bottom draw that contains 3 x surprise blind bags.Number 3 slide switch this opens the top pop up compartment inside is a surprise blind bag.Numbers 4, 5, 6 & 7 are all together at the turn of a handle, this opens up the box (not like Hellraiser, so don't worry!) entirely to reveal the set from Ryan's Playdate and a further 3 x big blind bags!I'll try not to spoil the contents but they contain figures, random items, a whoopie cushion and slime products. All of which my 3yr old will have great fun playing with and the dog chewing.Luckily this all folds away, thus enabling you to store all the small toys away, so a certain Spaniel cannot chew em.For the price I would say this is pretty bang on, as it does raise a few smiles and giggles opening all the compartments. The figures are nice, and you do get a lot of stuff. So of you have a child who loves watching Ryan on YouTube, consider this, as it might just make their day.Well recommend, make sure to stay happy and rise up!

It is a curious toy but so random!
I got Ryan's Playdate Large Mystery Box. It is a fairly large toy that I got for a nephew that is 4yrs old while he stays at my home. He liked the many buttons and action figures included. There are several compartments that open once you press/push/crank the buttons available. I expected some different behaviours if you change the order of the buttons or do something different, but it is always the same, doesn't matter the order. Once it is all open, the buttons have no function.I thought that it was something that you can put an action figure in one place and it would appear in another compartment after cranking the handbag, you know "Magic Box" is in the name, but it is more like a box for role-playing with the action figures included and the several small devices that come in it, such as a chair, hamburger dress, etc.I don't watch Ryan's YT channel, and neither planning to start watching, but I guess that this should make more sense if you do.There are 2 slime packs also included, but I wasn't willing to use it with those moving parts that would be impossible to clean later.Overall, I think it is a nice toy for kids that like role-playing in a show-like environment. It is not an action or a magic toy.

Not much play value.
This is a review of the Mystery Box. The best thing about this box is the unwrapping and undoing, the opening of the drawers and cupboards, the removal of the packets and opening of the packets. After that, you're left with a few figures and a few things they can play on. If your child loves Ryans World, then chances are they will find some play value with this set. But the main part is when everything is found and unpacked - the first hour of play.I'm not sure it's worth the money, and I'm not convinced that this will be a toy that your child returns to again and again after the first hour.I hope you found this review helpful.

Fun toy for younger children
A sunshine-yellow toy with multiple ‘accessories’ – 3 StarsThere are some really nice features to this toy, but other aspects let it down slightly. On the plus side, it’s bright and comes with lots of extra pieces including four character ‘dolls’. There are also plenty of moving parts for a child to investigate, and each twist, turn, or push reveals a different feature. I’m sure that it will particularly appeal to those youngsters who enjoy the TV show, but I think most 4-6yr olds would find it entertaining. On the downside, I wasn’t too keen on the inclusion of slime, and I found the moving parts of the main unit a little bit cumbersome and ‘clunky’ to use. I also felt it's only suitable for a very limited age-range too.Overall: Lots of additional play pieces, and several moving parts. Cheerful, but the construction is basic.

So exciting!
My son knows Ryan, he often watches him on YouTube. Therefore he was very happy to receive this from me.This is not one gift but definitely more than that. My son had that "Wow effect" 8 times: when he opened it and for each mistery door opened. The exciting thing is that it is not straight forward opening the doors but you need to find the right way, twisting or pushing or lifting etc. And when you manage to open the door you find a character or an accessory to play with. Also two slimes are included. That's the only thing which is very sticky and disgusting. My son had it all over his hands and head. It took a few minutes before I managed to get rid of it.When everything is available it becomes a really nice "pretend" game.Very nice, I enjoyed too, although quite expensive. I imagine if that wasn't "Ryan" it would have been cheaper.
