Casio Genuine Replacement Strap for G Shock Watch Model #GS-1010-1AV, GS-1100-1AV

The watch band is a perfect OEM fit for my G-Shock Giez GS-1100 [4777].I removed the old band with a sharp razor blade. This exposed the ends of the screws that hold the band in place. To remove the band retention screws you need a small but strong Philips screwdriver; my first screwdriver's tip broke off. The threads are set with a loc-tite type thread compound, and you need firm pressure and a good grip to get the screws to back out. Be careful not to round out the screw heads. It is possible to remove only one screw from each half of band and slide the band off of the smooth end of the screw shaft. This method is preferable to removing both screws.

It fits, it works but it;s not like the last one I purchased. it's not exactly like the original. They made it slightly narrower along the band. It's not as beefy as the last one or the original. But it's an older watch and it fits so its okay for a replacement.

so, this is a genuine casio giez replacement, but the original part # for my watch, which is listed in the product description (10212982) is not what i got. i got a 1033205, which is, (based on some random internet browsing), the suggested replacement i guess. it is not exactly the same as my original band, mine is maybe 1/4" longer on the long band and maybe .020" or .040" wider than the band i got. maybe casio started making replacements with less material to save some money, i dunno. looks 98% the same though.

Looks just like the original, but both sides of the strap are shorter then of the original they replace. Truthfully, I'm not impressed. When strapped, the watch band feels like a kid's version because it barely reaches across my wrist with barely one notch in reserve. It almost feels like Casio made the kid's version of the replacement strap for a watch that's targeting the masculine segment of Casio's customer base.

I bought for my brother long time ago and it is still in good conditions.

The same as the original straps exactly as they should be
