The media could not be loaded.  Pros:-Brought life back into one of my old ibanez guitars.-Short project with only 4 solder joints on this RG series, 3 if you pre-tin the negative of both pickups to the potentiometer. Easy and fun project.-Gold pickups look sick with other gold accents. Grab a matching gold input jack.Cons:Did not come with a schematic. You don't have to be a seasoned electrician to figure it out though. Just go one by one and don't go prr-snipping wires without being sure.

They sound a little muddy, but they aren't horrible. I found a diagram of these pickups online, and after installation, my switch middle position actually sounds more bright than just the bridge position. No I did not install them incorrectly. Either way, even though they are a little muddy they are good for the price.

I guess I snagged the last ones because these have moved into Currently Unavailable status. For the money, I’m really happy. One of the mounting screws absolutely would not go in, so I had to drill it out a little more. Other than that, easy to wire, adjustable pole pieces, clearly marked for bridge and neck, 2 wire humbuckers that I really like the sound of.

Normally, I like Filtertron style pickups and I've used many inexpensive ones. These were disappointing and I sent it back for a refund. Not wax potted very well - lots of microphonic squealing at high distortion levels. Also, the neck pickup measured 16K but still had a weak output. Bridge pickup measured 16K and sounded good.
