Very cool product
I have been using this product literally since high school. I love it since I have an olive complexion. It compliments deeper skin tones best. It’s a little hard to apply. The powder is very fine and fall out can be a mess on everything so be careful! The container looks super empty but a tiny bit goes a long way so don’t be discouraged by what looks like a small amount. Dampening it intensifies the color. It stays on forever! I dampen a Q-tip and use it for lip color and it does NOT come off. Use a very fluffy brush for cheeks. Use a tiny bit.

A little goes a long way
A little goes very long way. I’ve learned to keep a paper towel, handy to dab off the blush brush before applying. I use it as I shadow contour and on my lips. You’ll need to experiment with the amount you will need, but it lasts forever, great neutral bronze color adds a sunny glow. I am brunette with blue eyes and do not get very much sun on my face. So I’m on the Moore fair side of skin tone.

Best overall bronzer there is
This is one of the best cosmetics ever invented. It had its own following back in the day, but the idea of bronzers was not so big then. I think it was ahead of it's time and it's even more appealing now than it was then. If you are put off by all of the old-timers who rave about this stuff, think again. This is a really nice overall bronzer that looks great when it's used properly. The trick is to remember that a little goes a long way. Forget about using that puff that comes with it, use a nice fluffy brush, and get the excess off of the brush before you apply it to skin. It can be used for nice overall color and looks best when a little pressed powder is put over it to smooth it out. One thing I love about it is unlike many other blushes, etc., it actually looks better hours after you put it on, it does not fade out like chemical makeup, in fact it will work with the chemisty of your skin and look a little different on everybody. If you are not a 'girly-girl' and just want something quick and basic to brighten up, this does the trick and looks natural. The flexability is what makes it so nice, you can be as formal and fussy with it as you need but can just dust it on and go for everyday too. Highly recommended, this is a classic that has survived the years for good reason.

Not what you think, it's a SCAM!
If you're thinking this is the Internet sensation, Indian Earth you've seen in videos, it's not. That's a piece of Red Ochre you shake and use, and has a soft tone that works on most skin tones. This is just SILICONE BASED LOOSE BRONZER, created and packaged to LOOK EXACTLY LIKE the real Indian Earth! It's DARK, grainy, hard to blend, and ridiculously SHINY! As a Cosmetologist I definitely do NOT RECOMMEND, as using a silicone products on your skin is not a good plan, AND this product will not be a great fit for lighter skin tones! The cork is not travel friendly because it's LOOSE POWDER, UNLIKE what it's meant to be, a piece of actual ochre.

Good product poor packaging.
I used this product back in the day. The original came in a larger jar with an excellent cork stopper and had a lot more product and a lot more expensive. The jar was smooth with a terracotta finish outside and it had a solid cork. It lasted years! and it did not go bad or change color. This one is slightly different,. My problem is with the cork in this jar, it easily crumbles and it's tricky to remove w/o losing product. Some of the product was spilled inside the plastic baggy it was shipped in and considering it's only two grams that is not acceptable. As far as the product itself it is very much like the original as far as color and texture., a little bit goes a long way, a it gives you that fresh tan look which is not dirty brown or red but sunkissed. It goes on as a true Indian red and it's matte no shimmer which I prefer. The puff is useless, do not use it or it will go on dark and blotchy. Use a rounded blush brush and pick up a tiny bit around the rim or cork apply lightly you can always build up. I am happy with the product but not with the container. I's ask the manufacturer to improve the cork sealer because it is not fair to the consumers to find 1/2 gram of the product in the package and lose more trying to open it, other than that if you liked the finish of the product then you will like it now. I gave it 4 stars because I like the product's finish but it is not a great value until they improve the container, nor can it be used for traveling because of leakage of the product through the cork if it rolls. As far as versatility. I do use a little on my eye/brow bone area for a natural true tan look, but on nails, it would be ridiculous and a waste. In short, the product is great but the cheap cork is a problem. Hope this helps.

Amazing with technique
I look dead without it. It’s looks so natural when applied with some technique. I take off the cork and apply that to the back of my hand. I tap off any excess from the cork before I do that, then I tap my hand to get any excess off of that. Then I very lightly coat the puff, and tap off excess from that as well! It gives such a natural glow and blend perfectly.

use the puff
I used to use this as a teenager in the 70’s. Not sure why I stopped. I was recently looking for something that had multi-use and remembered this and bought it. I had a heck of a time applying it nicely. It either streaked or blobbed. Not nice. I made a “chapstick-like” mixture to apply it that way. It was ok, but not ideal. I then thought, why not try the puff that came with it? Nirvana! It works a charm. I do have 2 complaints: 1. It’s messy. It’s very difficult to NOT get some granules onto the bathroom counter or in the sink. It’s easier to clean off in the sink, but I needed cleanser or alcohol wipes to get it off of the counter. 2. Travel will be problematic. I’ll have to put the puff in its own bag. I’m going to look for a powder dispenser and see if I can put something together that works.

Color is great
I started buying this product over 44 years ago at a local health food store in St. George, Utah. It was naturally processed from the Southern Utah Red Cliffs. Having moved away I now buy it from Amazon. It has never made my face breakout, but if you don't wash it off your face each night, it will stain your white pillow cases. After letting my children run up and roll down the red sand dunes, I just added a little bleach to the wash and it came right out of the white's. As makeup, If putting it on sparingly with a soft feathered brush, it gives a nice suntan year round. Also great used as eyeshadow and with a little moisture, a natural lip color or lip liner. I personally love it and recommend it highly. As much as makeup cost, It's definitely worth the purchase.

So good!!
I have been using this since the 80s. Best bronzer hands down! Most days this is all the make up I need. I have fair skin and brown eyes, and this is the perfect buildable shade.

great bronzer
very good bronzer from the 1970's was good then and just as good now lasts forever Tip....put a tiny bit onto the the fluffy cotton ball provided then roll your bronzer brush onto the cotton ball then apply to face, this way you don't use to much product.

Not a bronzer as stated
This product is not what the colour states, it is almost black, not a bronzer and very difficult to remove off your face. Definitely not what you would expect from a bronzer. Terrible product, would not recommend.
