Dustan is like the sales manager I had 20 years ago when I started in the mortgage business. But he doesn't curse like a sailor or stink of cigar smoke like Manny did. I learned the correct mindset successful brokers must have. That facilitates everything else. An amazing amount of common sense and skill between these two covers.

It's an okay book but not as detailed and helpful as I had hoped.

Great book, 4 out of 5 stars only, and ONLY because not all points are relevant to the US. Other than that, excellent especially as to operational tips and efficiency pointers. Great book for a startup brokerage!

This is an excellent book for Mortgage Brokers that includes scripts to improve communication skills with clients.

After many years as an entrepreneur I came to realize that most business success starts with the right mindset. And mindset is a big part of what Dustan teaches you here. Develop the right mindset along with applying the principles he's outlined and you will be well on your way to profits in the mortgage brokering business.

After reading Volumes 1 and 2, I decided to savor Volume 3. I forced myself to only read a few chapters a week and I looked forward to my Sunday mornings drinking my coffee and reading a few chapters of Volume 3 of Be The Better Broker. Just as in Volumes 1 and 2, the information is valuable....and Dustan has a way of relating to people through his writing that makes the book funny and entertaining but at the same time, filled with great content. I thought 3 volumes on the top of mortgage brokering would be enough.....but now I can't wait until Volume 4 is released. Thank you Dustan for taking the time to put all of this information out there for the industry to embrace.

WOW, another blockbuster. DW has hit-it-out-of-the-park yet again. They keep getting better and BTBB V3 will not disappoint. There are so many gold nuggets that you just don't know where to start. There is a flow, so try and do your best to stay in the chapter sequence. Whether you are a 20 year veteran or fresh from graduating from the broker course there is something for everyone. Buy the book - buy the series! If you are a mortgage broker BTBB V3 is a must.

I have not enrolled in the mortgage brokering course yet, but after reading Dustan's heartfelt, informative book, it gives me one more reason to pursue this dynamic career. It makes me proud to think that someone with such integrity and dedication to others is apart of this industry. He definitely raises the bar for how all professionals and entrepreneurs should practise and establish a code of ethics that is in the best interest of humanity, not self. The information contained in this book is practical, detailed and tested. Definitely a recipe for success.

Get your pencil to make notes. Volume III offers you all the details to reach "File Complete." This book must be read twice. It is chalk full of solid advice for every new and seasoned broker. All the steps are included from start to finish. Thank Dustan for your huge contribution to the industry !!

Down-to-earth and conversational scripts that allow you to be prepared for every part of the mortgage transaction. How to guide conversations in ways that show your clients the value you provide. All this in the same straightforward manner the other two books were great for, but this time really getting in to the “how-to” of it all. Read it, learn it, practice it!

This is a great series and highly recommended to anyone in the industry. My husband is a broker and has really gleaned from the books he has read by Dustan. Kudos to Dustan for sharing his knowledge and experience in the industry - a true leader.

Great information, Dustan is extremely thorough and well worth the read. Dustan provides everything you could possibly ask for in his series and a lot of stuff you didn't know you needed.
