Arms are way too tight but if it weren't for that these would be 5 stars easily.
I really love Burt's Bees Baby products, but they really really need to work on their clothing sizing. I want to love these but they are meant for babies who have zero chub in the arms. I have a petite toddler (She's fluctuated between the 7th and 15th percentile for weight, just to give you an idea) but getting the arms on her is ridiculously difficult and I worry that they can't be comfortable. This is the 4th time we have tried their pajamas (sleepers and 2-pieces) so I'm not just complaining from a potential fluke. When my baby was just about 12 months old I bought a pair of these in the 12 month size because I had purchased a 12 month sleeper and it was way to tight on her...we were getting her matching jammies with her Grandma so I wanted to make it work. The 2-piece fit much better than the sleeper, though they were still a bit tight in the arms. I've liked them because they are such a great fabric and so darn cute. I love that they have the cuffs that keep them in place at the ankles and they actually keep her belly covered at night because the top is a nice long length. So, I decided to get my now newly 18 month old another pair so we could get all the benefits that I mentioned but hopefully the arms would be a bit looser and I was totally mistaken. I swear they use the same arms, arm cuffs and leg cuffs on all of their sizes, they are so darn tight! The arms are just as tight as her 12 month size if not tighter. They are longer, and the waist is looser (too loose on her, but not surprising because she is petite) but we really had to force her arms in to get these on. So bummed.Seriously Burt, I love your baby clothing, but please loosen up the arms a bit!

Buyer beware!
I bought a pair of the rugby stripe pjs for my child on Amazon and she loved them, so I bought several pairs in different from the manufacturer. Big mistake. What I did not know is that pretty much all of their printed pjs, although soft on the outside, have a very harsh serged seam that is extremely stiff and uncomfortable. I just assumed that all of the pjs would feel the same when worn so I took off the tags and washed them. Why would I not? My bad for assuming that this company has any kind of standards when it comes to quality. When I called the company I was informed that because they had been washed, they would not return the item "just because it was uncomfortable-hard and soft is so variable by the individual". Nice to see how this company stands by it's products. So now I'm out over $70 all because I thought this company's product would have some kind of continuity in the make of their garments. I used to use a lot of their products and so do a lot of folks I know. Suffice to say that this company is going to lose a good amount of business due to the shabby way they treat customers. Do yourself and your kids a favor and do not purchase these!

Don’t underestimate “snug fit”
I get that they are a “snug fit” but these are way too tight. Got a size up for my 18 month old and can barely squeeze him into it. He wears size 18 months in everything else. Wish they were a bit looser because the material is nice. Maybe baby number two can wear them at 12 months 😆

Pants came with a hole in it :(
I love love love burts bees pajamas for my daughter. I have had several so far, and love the fit, material, and that they do not contain flame retardants. I don’t often buy clothes new, but decided to splurge on this pajama set since my daughter has outgrown her other burts bees ones.It arrived today and I immediately threw it in the washing machine so she could wear it tonight. When I took it out of the dryer I was so sad to see there is a hole in the butt. The fabric was not sewn correctly there, a simple mistake, but one that should have been caught in quality control.I imagine there is a way I could return this item for a refund, but I honestly have no time for that, I work 50 hours a week and am not going to go to a print shop with my two year old daughter to print a label then go to a mail store to wait outside in line in 115 degree weather (Arizona) because they only allow one person inside at a time.So please, Burts Bees, quality check your products before mailing!

Order size up
I took the advice of previous reviewers and ordered a size 7 for my 4 year old. He is tall for his age (and skinny), but certainly not the size of any 7 year olds we know. They were just slightly loose to begin with, in a comfy, pajama-like way, but now after six months of growth and at least 50 washes are fitting like they would on a little burts bees pajama model. They are SOFT and CUTE and warm but not sweltering. My boy wore them as a set in the winter and now wears the pants with a t-shirt for the summer. They have held up to many, many washes and either the material is anti-stain or the big fat stripes just do a good job of covering past spills up.These might be a tough fit for a chunkier kid. My second boy has a bit of a beefier build and I have a feeling he might not be able to squeeze his thighs into the skinny pant legs when he is four. We'll see. For the tall, thin build, these pajamas are THE BEST.

No longer a customer
Let me start by saying that I LOVE the quality and softness of Burts Bees. We purchased a onesie last year for our newborn and it was so stretchy and he had room to grow. All time favorite onesie to this day! I have since purchased 4 more BB sleepers, and they all have been too small. My son is average sized, if not below average and all of BB’s clothes fit slim fit on him. We only get a few wears out of their items these days, which I don’t think is worth it for the price. I wish they would get their sizing right and we would be their biggest customer! Very disappointed.

Great quality
The cutest best quality pjs .Every brand of pajamas I have bought ran small and so do these. My son wears a size 2t and they were a little tight hard to get in the sleeves. I would size up.

Decent Pj’s but very snug
With lockdown in place I’ve been trying to avoid shopping in person. Since I am a Amazon Prime member I wanted to take an advantage of free shipping rather than order from other stores. So I tried this pjs since they have good reviews. The quality is good. Not amazing, but good. The thickness is medium, it’s cotton, sadly has horrible chemical smell, which luckily goes away after a wash. But it was a huge turn off when I received it.I knew the fit was “snug”, so I end up ordering size 3T for my 22-months old. She is thick build, but definitely not chubby and this pj fits...well super fit. She looks like a little sausage haha. I doubt she will be able to wear it at age if 3 because her hands barely fit through the arms of the pjs now. This pjs is definitely for very slim kids.Other than that it’s a good purchase, but I would price is at cheaper price point, unless you are buying it on sale like I did.

Don’t order if your child has clothing sensitivities.
I ordered a size up (5T) for my 4y/o, but sadly the pj’s were still uncomfortably tight around the wrists and arms. Within a minute of wearing them he got very upset and wanted them off ASAP. He ended up liking the pj’s by the brand Apples & Pajama’s (on Amazon!). They are still tight-fitting but are much more stretchy and soft.

Runs very small
My son is in 24 month sizes that fit well. To make sure he grew into these, I ordered a 2T, however they are extremely small. Won't even fit. 2T in these = 18 M sizes in all the usual clothes. Order a size up at least.

So happy
AMAZING! there is a reason why Burt’s bee has a good reputation. These pjs are the best pjs I have purchased for my 22 month old! I bought the pink and white stripped and they are beautiful. A very soft pink and grey trim . They are organic and so soft. They seem to run on the smaller side as my daughter is white petite for her age and the 2T just fit her . I doubt they will fit her come July . Super happy with my purchase
