Cute but…
I wanted to brighten up our pool at night and thought this would be perfect. Sadly one would not charge and the one that would, the mode settings button does nothing. My choice is solid red, green or blue. One is round and one is more oval. Very inconsistent. Alas I will have to return.

Just like described.
What a hoot. These things work.

Not my favorite
I’m not a fan of these. The are not bright at all and very cheaply made.

Disappointed
This order (and it’s my 3rd order) did not come with a charging cord. I think it’s a huge disadvantage. I will not order again. How do you know when they are charged? It’s guess work.

These lights are awesome and terrific value!
Did a lot of research before buying, checking out other brands. There's always someone who leaves a negative review and leaves you wondering. But I am SO thrilled I got these. My particular reason for choosing these over others is that you can select for each of them to be one color (from plain white or blue, red, pink etc) or you can select the rotating color mode. I like to have one white and the other a selected color. They are sturdy, although I don't let my grandkids play with them other than push them around the pool while swimming, just in case. The kids like the alternating colors so, at a push of a button at the bottom of the ball, I change the mode when they are here. They blow up easily and the inside solar panel keeps them lit up for as long I am awake (perhaps they are on till dawn!). Should you be in a more cloudy climate you can plug them in and charge them. Highly recommend.

Only one fully charges
Love the size of the balls and the fact that you can change the color so although we wanted them for Christmas we can use them all year. Also like the fact that you can use a USB port to charge in addition to solar. Upon receipt we charged them up and loved the color. Problem is one stayed colored all night but the other will not retain the charge. Only lasts an hour or so before going out. Disappointing!

Fantastic concept...Miserable execution
I received one pair of these inflatable globes lights via Amazon. I took great care to ensure the USB port covers were secure prior to placing the globes in my pool. After five days, one globe stopped lighting, and would merely flash green for an instant each time I pressed the "on/off" button. The other globe would begin to noticeably deflate after several hours, albeit I re-inflated the globe and ensured the inflation port was properly sealed.I returned these globes for an exchange. One of these new globes—which I hanged rather than placed in the pool—worked well for four nights, but didn’t light at all on the fifth evening. The fourth globe remains inflated and continues to illuminate each evening—but only for about two hours (even after very sunny days)—after which it flashes green for about eight minutes and then shuts down.I’ve had four of these globes and used them for a combined two-three weeks. In the course of this short period, all of them failed, and each for a different reason. They were fantastic if/when they were functioning, but...I’m returning the second pair and, as you might imagine, this time for a refund instead of an exchange. I suppose I should count myself lucky all of these globes failed so quickly that they remained within the return eligibility window. The quality control for these globes is poor and their reliability is worse. Also consider these globes are solar-powered and store the sun’s energy into a rechargeable BATTERY, which drains its stored energy to illuminate the globe at night. Following a certain number of cycles of recharging/discharging, the efficiency of the rechargeable battery will unavoidably diminish/fade, until eventually the globe will not light at all. After how much continuous use? Six months? Perhaps even a year? Most devices that rely upon rechargeable batteries include a method for replacing the battery. You CANNOT however, REPLACE the battery in these globes. So even if you are very fortunate, beat the apparent odds, and receive a pair of globes that don’t prematurely malfunction, the best-case scenario is somewhere down the line the batteries must inevitably fail, at which time you’ll have yourself a pair of expensive, non-functioning, inflated white globes.
