Just installed 3 x 200ah batteries for an RV solar set-up, so far soo good.
Will update this review after some time has passed, just installed batteries last night(8/7/2022) just purchased a 5k watt pure sine wave inverter on amazon and still waiting for it to arrive, can't wait to see how they work together, will include pics at a later review date. I chose these instead of lithium batteries due to they are the least likely to explode on fire and burn down my rig with my 3 animals inside. Lithium batteries are extremely volatile after many charges/discharges, or from damage. The only downfall is only 750 cycles and they weigh like 120-130 lbs each, my 40' fifth wheel trailer is already maxed out with weight, will have to sacrifice some other items to lessen my total load.UPDATE 9/20/2022: I am still happy with my purchase, everything is working flawlessly, I love having my wifi/modem and tv's and refrigerators hooked up at all times to my battery/inverter/solar system. I never have to worry about the city power going out for a while and screwing up a good movie or power surges messing with my wifi and cutting off wifi cams at weird intervals. I live in a campground with cruddy power lines, I have constant power surges that ruin everything electronic over time. Surge protectors don't work all the way. These batteries last all day and night with tons of stuff hooked up to them even with solar power cut off for the 1-3 day tests. I would recommend 3 or more of these batteries if your going to want to hook up a lot of power as well and run all day and night etc. I would have gone lifepo4 but was more expensive and I didn't have that much money for the same amount of AH. At least these are safer than standard liquid lead acid vented batteries! I have animals I leave in my Trailer and wouldn't want a bursting battery causing fire or poison gasses to kill my furry babies.

High quality battery.
I connected this 100 amp hour battery to a Muimoon UPS inverter.I ran many tests of battery performance, from low drain to high amps inrush. On low current testing the inverter stops draining the battery at 10.5 volts under load (11.5 volts unloaded) at 85 Ah (85% DOD) total usable power. I ran 120 amp load for 10 minutes and the battery never got warm. The official specifications don't actually list a 1C rating, but the discharge curve suggests that the Renogy battery appears to have a "1C" discharge value of about 240 amps from the spec sheet. (1C = .41 hour life for 100 AH battery): 240 amps x .41 hours = 100 amp hours. The curve also shows that .1C is 10 hours which equals a 1C of 100 amps. The curve also shows that .55C is 1 hour which equals a 1C of 181 amps. The curve also shows that 2C is .3 hours which equals a 1C of 333 amps.Renogy is obviously NOT using the standard linear definition of "C" rating.example: 0.05C amp x 20 hour = 100 amp hour (0.05C = 100/20), (0.05C = 5), (C=100)Comes with a very nice case with carrying strap.

survives abuse
I use this for my electric fencer solar set up. Going on year 2. It was under water during a flood and seems to be undamaged. It also survived me accidentally touching the terminals together. I almost didn't, but the battery is fine.

Really great batteries
I had to replace two house batteries on my Motorhome, they were about six years old and would not take a charge. I read reviews of many deep cycle, 12 volt batteries and these seemed to be winners. I was surprised by their heavy weight. I guess that’s because of the gel. I especially like not having to top off water, like my old batteries. Renology gear has a great reputation, so I purchased two. Installation was easy. I got them one day after ordering on Amazon. These are beasts and I expect to get many yeas of use out of them. I highly recommend them.

Renogy hybrid gel - caution charging this thing
I waited a year to write this review. I bought three (now 5) of these batteries for my truck camper. They are charged by my solar panels and by a DC - DC charger also from Renogy that also uses my truck alternator to charge while I'm driving. The maximum charging voltage as stated in the listing is 14.4 but this is the absolute maximum and if you don't have a charge controller that can be customized to charge a gel battery, most "dumb" chargers and trailer converters will send a 14.7 voltage to it by default in the bulk phase.I see a lot of negative reviews about not holding a charge. I am only guessing but the problem might be that you shouldn't charge these batteries (gel) at more than 14.2 volts although for some reason Renogy says for this battery the maximum is 14.4 volts. AGM and lead acid batteries can be charged at 14.7 volts. Most "dumb" trailer battery chargers (the converter box) put out 14.7 volts, when plugged in to shore power. If you do that to a gel battery, it creates bubbles in the gel and ruins the battery and it won't hold a charge. So it is very important with this battery to have a charge controller (preferably an MPPT charge controller) that can be programmed to charge this battery at the appropriate voltage. Also one of my batteries came without bolts for the terminals which is more of an annoyance than anything and required me to go to the hardware store to buy M8 bolts and the hardware store didn't have the stainless steel ones that you get from Renogy. Pay attention to what you are sending, Renogy. This is a common issue in the comments.I think they should also be more clear that this battery should never be charged above 14.2-4 volts and that is the maximum at 77 degrees. If it's hotter, the voltage has to go lower.Much of this information above is not forthcoming in the description or any kind of manual that you get with the battery. Nor is it clear what "hybrid" means, that's just a confusing term that has no explanation.Anyway I had to find out all of this information on my own from other sources besides Renogy and I just feel like this is a massive failure by Renogy to explain how to treat this battery. Renogy knows they are selling mostly to consumers and not professionals. Renogy should know that many of its customers are not going to automatically know that you can't charge this battery at 14.7 volts.
