WILE Road Bike Platform Pedals Flat Bicycle Pedals Aluminium Alloy

I installed these about two weeks ago in place of my old nylon ones and the difference has been amazing. First, a recent negative, there is some lateral shift on the left pedal at the bearing that has developed after about 200 miles. It doesn't seem to be an issue but the right pedal does not exhibit the same mechanical error. That being said, I can agree with some users that it seemed a bit stiff on first install. That clears right on up after maybe 50 miles and they now spin quite well. The concave shape lends to some amazing comfort and the "teeth" provide surprising grip. I typically ride in chuck's or vans and it feels like my shoes are glued to the pedal sometimes. Add on to that that they are extremely light weight and that they attach with a standard 6mm hex wrench OR pedal wrench and these are a great buy, so far.Modified rating down to *** from *****. Lateral shift issue escalated with continued use. Both pedals now exhibit the problem but, perhaps worse, they both now make a grinding sound from inside the axle. Played around with it a bit and it seems like the bearings are either worn or dirty but I have no means to get into the things to take a look. The rattle is quite frustrating. I'll probably replace them with something form another company.

These pedals, I've installed on 2 of my bikes, and they are the perfect size...not too big, not too small.They look great, and most importantly, they are VERY grippy, with the gum soled shoes, that I wear.I only wish that they were available in more colors...I'd buy more, for some of my other bikes!

Pedals look very good and are light. Seem to be excellent quality for the price. Had to take the plug out of end and loosen the nut. The bearings are sealed type and are well protected from water and dirt. The bearings are smooth turning but are tight. Perhaps after a few rides they will rotate properly

Gave this a try based on the reviews. Glad I did. Purchased this for my brand new mountain bike. This set was the lightest I found on Amazon for a reasonable price. Have been riding with this set for a few weeks now and no issues. Pedals has excellent grip with my hiking and running shoes. Very light weight that comes in at 9.7 ounces or 274.9 grams as shown in the photo. Seller is also great and quick to address questions or issues.Its been over 1.5 years since I got these pedals. They're still holding up without any issues on my mountain bike and I rod some good miles since then. Gripped my hiking boots, running shoes and flip flops just fine.

These pedals are significantly smaller than the other flat pedals I’ve purchased...like I looked at the box to see if they were Jr BMX pedals. Pedal in the center are these pedals...the other two are what I consider a normal platform pedal size. I think they are to small for normal mountain bike use (fine for kids or people with very small feet). I will probably send them back.

I got two sets of pedals last week; installed them on two bikes. The WILE Road Bike Platform Pedals Flat Bicycle Pedals arrived first & I was surprised by how small they were. Then I was surprised by how stiff the pedals are. I went to five other bikes & spun the pedals. I re-read reviews again, & installed them anyways. Twelve miles later - the right pedal unscrewed from the arm; jumped to the roadbed. Yelling occurred.

The peddles look, feel, & work great. Definitely would but again. They arrived on time. Very happy.

The pedals are solid and lightweight. They’re just a little more narrow than I was expecting- that’s on me, the pedals are great.
