Can i put these in drinks?

Don't do it. These light sphere's aren't sealed - your drink will bathe the inside of these spheres including the LED bulb, the wires, LR41 batteries, and contact spring. These components may have manufacturing residues that may or may not be safe to consume. These sphere's also pop open VERY easily with bumps and shakes (about 10% were already popped open from shipping/handling alone). The tiny LR41 batteries and contact spring pop out EASILY and can get sipped up and swallowed EASILY. Swallowing a battery or spring would quickly end a very festive night and facilitate an ER visit.

Can the batteries be replaced when the old ones burn out? Then re-insert the tab?

if you need replace the battery, you need to reassemble the ball light, it is mini and not easy to assemble
