I got them for my cat who is opening all the doors in the house. Especially, he was opening the main door which frightens me when I am outside. We put it under the door handle so even if he jumps the handle stays stabilized. He can't open the doors anymore lol. It's sturdy and works well. Easy to use.

I bought these to keep my cat from opening the closet door, which has a lever style handle. Works great!

These items worked fairly well, but they are not as durable as I was hoping. The stick power is good but is cheaper plastic than I had hoped.

Got these because my cats are demons. If we leave a door open they’ll climb the frame, scratch things up and generally wreak havoc. We had been Locking the doors, but they were a pain to unlock because of the style of lock on the door and I hate locking my door when I’m home. This product is amazing. My cats promptly tested them only 5 minutes after installation, including hanging on for dear life, dangling from the door knob with their whole body weight. To no avail. These safety locks stayed put. I am delighted to say the least.

I use these to keep my dog out of my closets because he can open doors. It was very easy to place on the door and keeps my dog from destroying my shoes.

I installed these and hoped it would work on my countertop edge and the lever hanging over the edge to keep the dishwasher closed. The previous one he figured out and I was desperate to find something that did not attach to the stainless and damage it. My 2 year old son flipped both on the first try in 3 seconds. There should be a button on both sides, not one. These are extra easy to open.Advise for those using these on door handles, pay the extra money and get the ones that have 2 push in buttons and a top and bottom flip. Too many things to engage for a toddler to open and much safer than these.

Worked well until the adhesive failed. Granted this is tricky since you don't want to permanently mar the door surface with some really powerful adhesive. But the nature of this design means there's going to be a lot of torque trying to pull this thing off, so not surprising it fails.

my cat CANNOT open the door with this! super helpful when there are things in the room that i wouldn’t want him going through or inject by accident.

No me funcionó ya que la cerradura que tengo tiene mucha distancia de la puerta así que no funciona sino para cerraduras que están muy pegadas, a parte la base de la pieza es muy grande así que no se puede acercar mucho a la base de la manilla no lo recomiendo

When your toddler is the reincarnation of Houdini you need to be one step ahead of their escape strategy. This is great under the living room door handle, sturdy and easy to put in place. It's annoying when I forget I've set the trap, I mean, safely secured my toddler away from harm, and I need to unset it because it sits at an awkward position under the handle. Minor inconvenience. Worth it.

My Cat would open the door, at 5 am to wake me up for breakfast. Not anymore LOL. I am confident he lacks the dexterity and opposable thumbs to defeat this lock. Easily folds out of the way when not needed and the door handle can still be used by lifting up instead of pulling down let's hope my cat doesn't realize.Not sure what it will be like to remove from the door as the adhesive tape seems very strong, the 3m tape with pull tabs to easily remove would have been a nice touch for renters

The media could not be loaded.  Our cat likes to flush the toilet and we think it's very cute. Unfortunately, he like to do this ALL NIGHT long...So we bought this product as a deterrent.It worked perfectly.I suspect it works for doors too. I wouldn't know. :)
