My best mani-pedi outside a salon!
This is my first use of a powered tool for the job; I bought it in hopes of an easier time shortening & filing both finger and toe nails. It's well made and it's easy to change tips - just be sure to push the tip in all the way so it seats in the opening. I did take a previous reviewer's advice and used an extension cord lying flat on the floor since the power cord is short and tightly coiled. I also sat on floor pillows for the pedi so I didn't have to bend over so much.I did have to go back-and-forth to the instructions and pictures the first time I used this, but after using each tip, it became obvious which tip to use for which job.All tips did a fine job. Much easier, faster and better outcome than by my hand. It shortened and shaped nails, removed callus, corns and rough skin around nails, and gave a super smooth buff. As with files and blocks, I worked at right angles to the nails, and worked gently without bearing down, not leaving the tip in one spot but continually lifting a tiny bit and moving it slightly adjacent.Only people with good sensation in their hands and feet should use this, so they can immediately feel if they're pressing too hard or are off the nail and onto the skin. It's a powerful tool and could cause injury unless it's used properly.I couldn't be happier with this purchase, and wish I'd gotten one way sooner. I'm 69 and am so glad to have found this great tool!

Great for my problem feet
I have tried many devices to care for my heavily calloused feet. I have been under a podiatrist's care since my 30s due to this issue, going in every 8 weeks or so for treatment. This is the best at-home solution I have come across. It is powerful and relatively easy to use. It is not cordless, so I need an extension cord to use it outside, but the power is worth it.

Didn't care for the product but this is a company that values happy customers.
My finger nails are very firm/hard and grow fast. I hate clipping them for this reason, it's basically an annoyance. So I thought I would try this product thinking it would make the job quicker and easier. The first time I tried it, it did a poor job and it took nearly 45-60 minutes to do what would have taken me 5 minutes even with the coarser files on highest speed. I have normal finger nails, most women would love to have them, I just like mine short below my finger tips and it didn't work. It works somewhat on my feet, rough parts but not impressive. I'm disappointed, I wanted it to work. I wish I could send it back since it was so expensive!!!Update to my review. Although I was unimpressed with this product I have to say I was very impressed with the company. They contacted me immediately and offered me the option of replacing the product or providing a refund. They appear to be a company that truly wants their customers to be happy. Of course happy customers bring high reviews, more sales. So based on the company's great customer service I am giving them more stars. They didn't have to do this and I'm very appreciative of the refund for a product I wasn't happy with. Thank you Pure Enrichment!

Good price point for this handy tool
Note to the reader: The following review was solicited by the seller with an offer of a free manicure set. That took a while to arrive, but eventually did and turned out to be quite nice. Despite this inducement, my review is honest and accurate."My feet are in good shape but I have a couple of places where callus buildup is an issue. After years using a pedicure stone with handle I decided to get an electric tool the same or similar to what my podiatrist uses. The stone was effective, but slow and uncomfortable to use, especially on the tip of my big toe where the toenail interfered with the cumbersome stone.Based on reviews at Amazon I quickly eliminated the battery devices as probably too weak. And, as we all know, battery powered devices tend to need recharging just when we go to use them. PureNails cost quite a bit more but, still, much less than some professional looking units. Yet it still had many of the same features found in more costly products such as good tool selection, LED illumination, 2 speeds and reversible direction. So I went with PureNails. As expected, it has plenty of power. Its use is much more comfortable than the stone, and in about 5 minutes I used the cone tool (tip of big toe) and callus rasp (ball of foot) to nicely smooth down those 2 troublesome locations. I also tapered the leading edges of the big toenails, same as my podiatrist does. Again, it worked well. One minor complaint is that the ON/OFF switch seems awkwardly placed and a bit small. Still, 5 stars overall."
