Can the Configuration be changed and carried and scout fashion

It will not work for scout carry. And why would you want to? It’s a leatherman, not a fighting blade

No only the wave...idk if they make other holster models. I've seen other people making them too. Keep looking and you'll find what you need

Is there anything that holds the tool in the sheath? Seems like it would fall out easy if you lay on the ground

Nothing to hold in. But my tool fits tight and never falls out. Depends which Leatherman you have . Meaure your tool and check dimensions given in description. That is what I did.
