Very nicely constructed leather bound journal with hand stitching and leatherwork/painted design. Was purchased as a Christmas gift and was well received. Interior edges could probably have been smoothed a little bit, but the overall construction appears solid and it feels nice to the touch. Since my sister needs new journals every year, I'll likely look for this same maker/designer again next Christmas shopping season.

I bought this as a gift for my mother. She and I were both very impressed with the quality and craftmanship of this journal.

You get what you pay for. Just spend a little more and get one in person at a bookstore.

This is a beautiful product. It's very high quality and would be a phenomenal gift, although I use it for myself. My only issue with it is that the latch on the side never stays closed, as this is kept in my work-bag, which moves around a lot. To that degree, the closing mechanism is a bit pointless. If you were to keep this standing up on a shelf, you wouldn't have that issue.It's soft leather, but very durable. The pages are also very natural, but easy to write on with either pen or pencil and they're tougher than you'd think, which is great. Overall, an amazing value.

Wonderful, well build journal.The leather and paper both are thick and of good quality, feel great to the touch, and even smell great out of the box. Design details and color matches photos perfectly. The best leather journal for the price. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is due to 2 tiny imperfections that I like but that others may not. They are one leaf has no green or was rubbed off and the 2 copper buttons securing the clasp are tarnished with green while the clasp looks new. I feel theses minor imperfections give an individual feeling to the journal, for me personally, and I will be using it for our wedding book. If you are on the fence, go for it! Best smelling leather journal, with good quality materials, plus the service was great and shipped quickly!

Beautifully made, came with a cute note inside. The makers take pride in it. It is smaller than I thought even though I looked at the measurements.. and it has a bit of an odd smell.. not leather something else.. but I'm sure that will air out.

This is just beautiful and perfect for me to have as my journal. I found my son passed away just 12 months ago , and now Iam ready to begin to log down my daily feelings , emotions, and anything else that may arise .
