Good book
Good book with general information, guidelines, and compilation of experiences regarding design of MBR. Not oriented to actually provide support on the design of MBRs.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY
This book should be much better for the money. If you simply talk with MBR suppliers you can find out the basics of an MBR system and avoid the cost as only the very basics are covered. For example the sections that should be lengthy and packed with information such as 'Membrane Fouling' are only a few pages long. Chapter 3 is supposed to cover process fundamentals and spends a lot of time on kinetics and equations straight out of Metcalf & Eddy. At this stage with over a decade of MBR experience, there should be much more on case studies and answer the questions such as 'What has worked well?" and "What hasn't worked".Only useful if you have no idea what an MBR is but an MBR supplier is a much better resource and it won't set you back $120.
