They would easily fit a 60" table. A little thin but good for one use.

Yes. If the table is truly 8 foot long, that is 96 inches and the table cover is 108 inches. You should have about a 6 inch overhang on each end.

Is it a little cloth looking type ?

No, it doesn’t look like cloth. It’s definitely vinyl, but thicker than the kind you find at the dollar store.
