Perfect for cold, rainy days.
I initially bought this for cosplay, but I've never had a go-to rainy-day coat until now. It feels comfortable and very warm, use it for when the weather is not only rainy, but frigid and cold.

Waterproof... inside and out
This seems to have been designed by someone who has read about rain, but never actually used a garment to protect themselves from it outside. It's extremely waterproof... but not the least bit breathable, and even has elastic cuffs to make sure water vapor and sweat stay inside. There's no liner so it feels like you're wearing a heavy trash bag against your skin. If you're doing the tiniest amount of physical activity in warmer temperatures the sweat is going to soak you so bad you might as well have not worn a rain coat. The hood is perfectly shaped if you happen to have a head shaped like a rugby ball. And it doesn't even have an interior pocket, which I would think would be a given in any raincoat to keep a spot dry! This will go in my car for emergency use, I guess, but if you need something for day-to-day wear, this is not it.

Great rain jacket!
This rain jacket has proven itself time after time for me. I'm a mail carrier for the post office, and we get clothing allowances, but they don't equate to much considering the overpriced gear and limited vendors. I bought this for $11 shipped, and it's saved my quite a few times. The dark blue color also looks good as a postman, and I'll probably find a way to put a postal badge onto it. It's a bit long and covers some of my thigh, which prevents rain from hitting your pockets where your phone and wallets are usually kept. It also covers your behind, so your butt doesn't get wet, and I jump in and out of my mail truck a hundred times a day. Having a wet bum would be miserable in January.Overall I'm giving it 4 stars. I'm knocking off 1 star because it's a bit tight in the shoulder area for me, I have a 44" chest, and I bought a Large. Again I've worn this for 8 hours a day at times, jumping in and out of the mail truck delivering packages, and what not. It's held up, and I would order again in a heartbeat if it ever torn, but it's built to last.

junk
the coats (i bought two) look very good, especially for the price. but...my guess is the same exact coat like this, in perfect condition, sales for a lot more (though i doubt anywhere close to the $400.- price tag it caries...).right out of the packed, both raincoats had a broken part - the mechanism that used to tighten the bottom of the coat.but hay, for $10.- we will take it.after 1 week of use, the seams from the shoulder started to get out.i will still squeeze some use out of them but i am pretty much convinced that these are probably defect ones that the seller tries to get rid of here...

Decent for the price
For the price it is a decent rain poncho. It has a lightweight feel, a little plastic-y but that I suspect is the waterproofing. My son is about a men's large and it fit him well. (He is 5' 8" tall, weighs about 155-160 and a bit stocky build.) The only thing that isn't very good is the draw string around the bottom. That unraveled after one use. So, this is good for light to moderate outdoor wear over maybe a 1-2 hour exposure. Like a canoe trip or summer rain. This is not intended for heavy storms and or cold/wet weather. No insulations and the material is a bit see-through for darker clothes underneath. But, good basic cover up to have in the car for unexpected storms. Or maybe spring rains to and from school.

Good overall
Edit: going on 2 years and this thing still looks like new. I use it at work and it's been awesome. Love to see the other guys get soaked while I'm just chillin. I need to get a large now, because I lost 30 lbs since then and the xl is swimming on me now. I'm 5'11 at 172lbs, was 205lbs.Bought specifically because other reviewers said it wasn't plasticky and didn't do the swish swish sound when walking. 100% false. It's very plasticky and swishes big time. It's a no-brainer this will keep you dry, though. It's 100% polyester with pvc coating on outside. The fit is great, nice and roomy. 2 pockets on the front, access is from the front, not the sides. Sleeves have an internal elastic cuff (not constricting) to help prevent water going down your arms if you need to raise them. Air vents in the arm pit area. It's pretty well made, especially at this price point. I'm keeping it.

Writing Titles is the Hardest Part of a Review
I can't believe this is only $14. It seems like a much more expensive rain jacket. For that price, you have expect it to be disposable-like, but it has heft to it.The hood can be folded up into the collar and held in place with velcro, so if you don't want to use the hood, it conveniently can go out of the way, but then it's there if you need it. It can also just hang down like a normal rain jacket. There is also elastic at the wrists, part of an interior layer separate from the squared-off outer layer. The only issue is that it seems to scratch my skin a bit. It's the only drawback I can think of with this product.Overall, though, it's great. Get a couple of them. I got a black one, which looks sharp, and was thinking of getting the yellow, but there are two different pics of yellow, the one where you choose the color (which looks like crap), and the third pic of the black one (which looks great). After getting the product, I would guess that the yellow one looks good, too, but I haven't ordered it yet. If I need a yellow rain jacket, I'd order it.

Good Jacket, watch the size you order
Good quality product and definitely waterproof. I found medium to be a bit on the large size. It was massive. I'm 5'5 and a size 12. I think XS would have been a better fit. I returned it and the whole process and refund went well.

Great item for the money!
I wore this in the lake district the first weekend i got it & it coped with light drizzle to a very heavy deluge, what more can you ask from a very reasonably priced bit of kit.
