Very handy
Excellent tool. Very cool.

Solid Gerber quaility
Pretty cool little utility knife. Nothing to write home about with the notable exception of the cork-screw. It works fine however the "fulcrum" for the cork screw isn't quite long enough to cleanly remove a cork from a bottle

Important?
Not sure why I needed this, but I am happy to have it.

Don’t buy for a corkscrew
It’s a really cool knife but I bought this model for the corkscrew to keep in a wine bag. The corkscrew is too short and I end up ripping Corks in half every time. The lever is also kind of sharp and I’ve cracked bottle necks while trying to open bottles

Love this thing!
As a lifelong Swiss Army Knife user, I bought this out of curiosity. Surprisingly, I LOVE IT! The blade feels more substantial than a traditional SAK and I wouldn't hesitate to use it for the same stuff I use my heftier knives for. I've opened 100's of wine bottles with my SAK.... this is an improvement. The bottle opener acts as a lever just like a traditional wine key. Fits in the pocket well and all of the tools deploy very easily.

Great EDC multitool for WFH
I used to love having really awesome EDC knives in my pocket that gave me the feeling that I could "take care" of random attackers. Later, I realized that was goofy (got older) and that I'd be better served by having something more like a Leatherman or a Swiss Army knife. Then, I got older yet, and found my day does not typically involve doing more involved tasks than opening packages, letters, and bottles of wine or beer. I might have to turn the occasional screw or something at work, but more typically, I have someone do it (I'm a "boss" now). So, something like this little tool is great for if I am ever at the office again with the rest of the team, or working from home, as I have been for the last 100+ days. As a Portland, Oregon native, the Gerber name still resounds with me, even though Pete Gerber is long gone and Fiskars has owned them for a long time. I own a Vietnam era Mark II, a Bowie, a large selection of their kitchen knives and other pieces from "back in the day." A lot of the modern patterns just have not felt all that great to me, but this little knife is making me a believer again. Nevermind that it is "made in China" - you can specify any quality you want (and pay for it) in China, and Gerber did a great job here. The first thing is that the knife blade is amazingly sharp and sharpenable. After cutting up a cardboard box or other abrasive task, I just take a few passes over my old Gerber diamond field sharpener (no longer available) and it is once again very sharp. I use this multiple times a day. I am not bothered by the lack of a clip or lanyard, although a clip would be a nice addition. It would be a great addition if it was able to clip to wool dress pants without damaging them. The corkscrew is a solid tool and has the lever blade to help take corks out of wine bottles. It works well. It is nice that the lever blade has a sharp edge for cutting the foil instead of using the main blade, which would be dulled by this use, or even damaged. The scissors take an instant to figure out how to unfold the first time, but are well thought out and have an easy to access tab to help with the process. They are suitably sharp and have a good, tight fitting hinge to allow for precise cuts. They are not, however, pointed for access to tight areas. I am OK with that, but you should check it out if you plan on using this for field repairs like sewing. I recommend this knife as a great, unintimidating tool for office use. It is not that showy, but it is very useful and effective on a day to day basis.

The Next Level
A unique multi-tool design looking a bit like a skeleton frame you'd expect of a bridge, is made with what is believed to be 420HC steel and features a golden desert tan anodized aluminum face plate, and it contains a 3mm thick 6.6cm locking blade with a factory edge that shaves hair, plus it has a textured finish resembling galvanized steel. Pushing open the other side in the correct way lifts up the scissors and can opener just enough for you to pull them out if desired or close them down. The scissors have a strange reverse flip action to twist it around to use after opening them but there is a tab that serves as a handle to push on, plus the joint is very strong and tight for excellent cutting scissors. The can opener is a hook design to also open packages, like a pry hook kind of tool for many uses, it tears into cardboard like some kind of crazy claw while saving your blade from the abuse cardboard exerts on fine blades. The foil cutter next to the corkscrew work in tandem for opening wine bottles, resembling some large engineering project. The butt of the knife is a hammer or can open out as a beer bottle opener and general use pry bar. All the tools except the hammer operate on a single thick axel with stiff joints to ensure sturdy use. The back of the multi-tool is a flat smooth piece of steel for the hand to gain high comfort when using any of the tools, while the front of the multi-tool serves as a fingertip rest when using the knife as the fingers wrap around the main plate. Gerber really took multi-tools to the next level with this bottle opening knife combo, which wasn't as apparent in the pictures but only handling the Armbar Cork does the genius design begin to show itself in the functionality and beauty. Some people only wish for it to be a little bigger in size but I think it's fine, suitable for pockets. A clip on the outside near the knife, hanging down from the hammer over the knife guard, would've been nice, but it's alright. The one thing I would change first would just be to add more of a point onto the knife. The knife geometry is like a miniature chef's knife, which is unusual, almost like a cheese and sausage knife. This multi-tool is about near perfect though and someone put lots of effort into creating this masterpiece. Worth every penny if you ask me, a very fine multi-tool that handles better and safer than any other multi-tool I own. Its place seems to be for the kitchen but it's suitable for the car and camping too, although they've got the car covered more with the Gerber Armbar Driver I see. I hope the Armbar series stays in production for a long time because these look great as gifts or in case something happens to mine. It would be interesting to see an Armbar Camper, maybe with second locking serrated knife mirrored on the other side, with scissors in the middle, or something more creative. The entire Armbar Cork can also be opened and closed with one hand only, although it is very tricky to do with the left hand but right handed is easy.
