These are perfect. I give them to my students who don't have pencils or pens in class. Most students don't carry them off to their next class. They stay in mine. Ready for the next student.

I work at a store where customers are always asking us if we have a pen and paper for them to write down item locations or notes to themselves. We used to give out full sized pens / paper and we would only get back about 25% of them, causing us to run short and have to keep buying and buying. Someone suggested trying golf pencils and these have been a game changer. A customer can write what they need and these are a fraction of the cost of full size pens. I like that they are all pre-sharpened so all we do is open the box and put out a hand full. They are of a good size and quality for the average person to use. We did find that we needed to invest in some card stock, as writing on paper with nothing behind it was difficult. Overall I am very happy and will purchase more when the need arises.

We purchased them for customers to fill out a form before approaching the cash register. They worked great. Customers returned them so that they can be used year after year.

The county jail inmates love them; acceptable for use in that institution.

I bought these for those students that habitually lose their pencils and ask for one. Eventually, they began to remember their pencils because, overall, they weren't a big fan of using them. I did notice a durability issue with these where if you press hard enough, which isn't too hard at all, the graphite will push out the back end making it almost useless long term so golfers beware? I can't imagine you go through enough pencils for this to be a big issue but something worth knowing about pre-purchase.

I teach middle school and always have students without pencils. I’m not one to gripe about a student not having a pencil, but giving out 10+ full size pencils a day was getting expensive! These are perfect for students to use and they’re small enough that they either begin to remember their OWN pencils or they put it back because it isn’t worth keeping after use and losing it sometime during the school day :) this will be my new go-to new teacher gift!
