Installs easily and works fine. The only reason I gave it three stars instead of five is that the switchplate is a much lighter pewter color instead of the same color as the receptacle. I think they should be an identical color. The switch plate serves more as a frame for the receptacle than any effort to make the entire assembly blend into the installed environment.

I did my whole house with these "Aspire" products, looks so much better than the 1980s yellowish metal stuff!

I recently remodeled my kitchen and replace the regular light switches, receptacles and the GFCI ones with cooper's Aspire range of products. They look fantastic and work very well (even put in sliders for my new 3-way recessed lighting) - The product is very good - but the experience I had with customer service was very bad - initially I was not able to wire them properly using the manual - so had to interact with customer service for helping me out - the guy was bad - had a severe attitude and I had to deisconnect the phone because of that. Our friends at Lowes helped me out after I went to their store (where I puchased the product).I am happy with the product, but not happy with their customer service. If you are buying their sliders, please note that they will not work wiht the fluorescent bulbs, even through thay are marked as "works with dimmers".

A modern look, and part of an ensemble that also includes versions with usb charger ports, versions with one plug and one built-in LED nightlight, versions with timers, a 20-amp version for your garage, light-switches and timer-switches that are of the same style, etc. In short you could outfit your whole house with this brand and this brand alone. The faceplates from this brand (sold separately) have a hidden-screw design, and are made of plastic. You can easily substitute any other rectangular faceplate if you prefer metal.If you look closely you will see that a square logo with the letters "TR" appears twice, between the narrow slot and the wide slot of each of the two plugs. It is tiring to see logos and brand names on everything from underwear to electrical outlets, but in this case it is a minor nuisance - it isn't something you'd notice unless you were very close to it, and is completely hidden if you actually plug something in.Amazon's price is currently quite a bit higher than the brick-and-mortar price, but it isn't carried by the dominant hardware store chain (it is available at one of the smaller hardware store chains, and can be found in bulk multipacks too).
