Works great! Makes cleaning a breeze after a good range day.

Like many other shooters, cleaning is a huge pain in the butt. Typically I just use a standard cleaning kit with rods, brushes and cleaning solution. After using this, I clean up and wipe everything down. This cleaning system allows you to just squirt on some solvent and pull the brush through the barrel. I was so pleased with this first "snake" that I've purchased these for every caliber that I own.

These kinds of bore snakes are excellent regardless of caliber. I would always own these.

My old bore snake was too short for the 12 inch barrel on my carbine. This works great.

A must for your gun.

I love the little puck first of all, and the bore boss is easy to use and works, but I don't think it's as effective as some others of the same style. That said, for between deep cleanings I think it's more than sufficient; you just may need a couple more passes to get it where you want it to be. My advice would be to oil the brush and mop, feed carefully, put the brush directly into the barrel, pull until there's resistance, and make sure the mop part isn't bunched up before it fully enters the barrel. Pull slowly through, then repeat. FYI this will not work with barrels much longer than 20 inches.
