can i down load (meshare app) on my computer?

There are 2 ways to watch the video on your computer. Use the Zmodo web app ( https://user.zmodo.com/ ) log in to your zmodo account. Zmodo also has a windows Zviewer program you can download from their website so you can watch on your computer over your LAN. For the Zviewer progrm go to http://surveillance.zmodo.com/support-software scroll down to "Zveiwer for the PC" to download the program. The Zview program will can you local network looking for any connect cameras. Works great for this Zmodo HD mini wifi camera.

When motion is detected, does the camera start recording so that I can view it at a later time?

Go to http://surveillance.zmodo.com/zmodo-new-mini-wifi-camera.html and if the page does not show this camera then search in the right corner for ZM-SH75D001-WA.Video compression is H.264. Alarm is E-mail alarm, video record and Intelligent motion detection.Supported mobile phones and Communication interface WIFI.Other information is on the page.

Do I need to set up port forwarding on my router to view remotely from outside of the house?
