Q: What size should i buy for my 2005 F-150 headlights?

I bought 2 rolls of the widest size for my 2018 Ford F-150.

Q: I only want to tint a small portion of my pod lights. It’s probably just 2x2 inch flat surface. Do I need a heat gun for that small amount of surface?

I don’t think so. I used this for a craft project and just stuck it on the mirrors I was making, never used a heat gun.

Q: with the dark film, do i trim back up lens, and do i need brighter bulbs? on tail lights

Normally you don’t need to go to a brighter bulb. I have replaced with LED before and there is little difference. I try not to double dark tint headlights or tail lights but everything else I do. I like to make sure I can see the running light in the tail lights at 100 foot.

The difference is in the size of the roll. You can get two of the same size. You will get more with length with the one then the other. Check sizing.
