works great with my shark
my shark robotic vacuum needed more magnetic strips to keep it out of areas where it would get stuck. This works great, and comes with little sticky tabs to hold the strips firm. It works great with my shark vacuum and I have no complaints at all.

Works
Works great with my shark vacuum. Doesn’t register very well if you put it under a carpet. If you’re trying to avoid a piece of furniture or cords then place an inch or two ahead of where you want it to avoid.

Works better than the magnetic barrier strip that came with my robot vacuum
This strip is a little stiffer, heavier and stronger magnetically than the one that came with the robot vacuum. The vacuum doesn’t push it around as much, and it responds better to it.

Works with Roborock E5. But probably need more.
This did come as advertised with the tapered edges, it works pretty well if you cut them long. Anything under 1 foot is probably not gonna be picked up by the sensors on the robot. The vaccum ran over and dragged a pc that was several inches around, it is probably best to tape it down if you don't have a heavy rug.I used it mainly under thicker shag rugs and fluffy rugs, it keeps the robot from getting on it and getting stuck! I also put some under the dog's water bowl mat and it works fairly well except for smaller pcs where sometimes they get pushed around. Make sure you get enough cause one roll isn't much if you want to cover multiple things.TIP: It works way better when you expose 1/3rd of the strip from under thicker rugs. Sometimes it may not read the strip right away if completely hidden. It goes roughly an inch or so over the magnetic strip before sensors pick it up and moves away.

Shark Robot Vacuum Sheep Dog
I cut this "tape" to size for doorways, such as in front of my sliding glass door. And a few work areas where I need to have papers all around me. I didn't secure to the floor, but just cut with my regular scissors, and marked off where I don't want the robot to cross. It does make the robot a little cross when told to clean said room, and it can't cross the boundary. But eventually it does give up and goes about its business. So I know it is working for me. Eventually I'll get around to nailing or using the double sided tape that came with the product. For now just laying out the black boundary markers does the trick for me. Should I ever sell, or want the particular room cleaned I have options.

Works well for Shark robo vac
Tape does slide on the carpet so we chose to test out tucking it under the edge of the carpet the vacuum gets stuck on. So far I've had success with the Shark vacuum seeing it and not going over. The sensor for it appears to be tucked a bit under the vacuum so if it's something delicate you don't want it bumping into you should put the strip maybe a half inch away. The strip is low enough profile you shouldn't trip on it and it flattens pretty quickly after laying it out. It does come with adhesives to use on hard surfaces but i am not using those.
