Flawless!
Having owned Fenwick rods over the past 50 years the Aetos is simply the finest rod I have ever owned. A few years ago I contacted Pure Fishing ( Fenwick's parent company) and was told it was discontinued due to high production costs. If you love to fish treat yourself to this rod. The seller Garrett Outdoors shipped the rod very promptly, it arrived 12 days before the Amazon estimated delivery date and the rod packaging was outstanding.Very positive experience.

Great rod. Super light and extremely sensitive
Great rod. Super light and extremely sensitive. I paired it with a stradic fj 3000. I mainly use this combo for worm and jigs, and I have landed a few dozen trout, largemouth bass and striper. Nice fast tip with plenty of backbone to handle those bigs fish.

Love this rod! Very light and sensitive. And as a bonus it is one of the best looking rods on the market. I would not hesitate to purchase another.

Major Disappontment!
I've been a Fenwick fan for many years. During summer months, I fish for wall eyes in northern Minnesota. In winter, I chase trout and redfish on the Florida gulf. In the past year, two of these rods have broken in half. Two there's lost line guides without stressing them. No longer made in the USA, I'm afraid Fenwick has traded quality for reduced cost of production. I hate to say it, but I'm done with Fenwick. I did not purchase these rods through Amazon, but felt it important to warn prospective buyers.

Breaks a lot
When spending this much the rod shouldn't break over and over.
