Very comfortable and warm (mostly wore in 30-40F degrees)
I wore it everyday for the past 8 days in Chicago. Very comfortable and warm (mostly wore in 30-40F degrees). I really like the color and the top two lacing half rings (i dont know how to call them) make it really easy to wear and take off without having to loosen the laces too much. I had to take my boots of at the airport security checkpoint and despite having laces, it was really easy and fast to get them off and back on. Leather seems high quality. I usually scratch the front of my boots all the time and obviously it caused some scratch and mark on the front part of the boots. I applied leather protecting water proofing gels on them and they are good as new, with no visible scratches. The only drawback is that it looks a bit big and clowny compared to my other shoes. but i guess it is expected for boots. Looks great on leggings. Seems water proof. Haven't got a chance to try them in rain. But slushy weather in Chicago did not get through these boots. Overall very satisfied and I was looking for warm boots before switching to extremely warm and tall boots for Boston's winter in late January and February, but now i am considering to wear them all the way through winter with warmer socks, as the boots have more room.

Great boot!
This is a replacement pair for the 7-7.5 that were just a bit snug for hiking boots. This pair fit like a dream and are SO comfortable. My feet feel completely protected and are comfortable with both thin to thick socks. These boots require only a little breaking in. They look great and I feel confident they will do well when put to the test. I highly expect them to last for many years and age well. I've told all my hiking friends to order them!

Awesome
Love the aesthetic of these boots and the water-proof quality. Worked extremely well hiking in snow and ice in Iceland and the rocky mountains for me.Go for a smaller size for these boots. My normal shoe size is about 8.5, and these boots at 8 fit perfectly for me. Fits well with regular athletic socks and comfy with wool socks for hiking in the snow.Great quality, look, and price!

Too small
Watch the EU size to US size. I thought I was ordering women's US size 9 - 9 1/5 but EU for that according to ECCO is 40, which everywhere else should be at least a 41 or 42. Ended up being too small.

Quality boots
These boots are some of the most comfortable right out of the box that I've ever had. They are extremely supportive and springy. Walking in them is a pleasure, especially on natural surfaces. I've worn them on easy wooded trails with stones and roots and they felt very stable. I have an unfortunate penchant for sprained ankles and I'm happy with the ankle coverage and support. I deliberately walked through about 3" of water with them yesterday and they passed that test with flying colors. The leather is soft, the uppers are somewhat stiff and require a bit of breaking in, but seems like they will continue to soften and mold to my feet as time goes by. It looks like they can be re-soled, a must for a shoe that is supposed to get better with age. I don't much care for the narrowish toe, though I have plenty of wiggle room, the look is somewhat narrower than I like, I think if they had rounded and blunted the toes a bit it would make more sense. The Stone color is pretty spot on stone color. In darker light they look sort of brown, but really they are a solid lighter gray, with darkened toes and heel. A bit too light for me really, but I am darkening them with coconut oil and its working pretty well. The thing that takes a star away is that they are not so good for standing and working on a concrete floor. It's a rare shoe that can remain comfortable in that environment. I usually wear Keens at work and will probably stick with them for that purpose. I do like these boots though and am glad I got them. I expect they will last well beyond my need to stand on concrete floors for 8 hours a day. I wear between an 8.5 and a 9, leaning toward a 9 in most shoes. I got an EU 40 and they fit perfectly with medium and light weight wool socks. .

I really like these boots
Overall, I really like these boots. The styling is simple/minimal, the color is great, and the slight burnishing on the toe tip is a nice touch. The details are really well done. I wore these for five hours in damp grass and had no issue with the waterproofing. My feet were tired by hour three, though I don't know if that was because of the weight of the boot or just an issue with comfort/support.Biggest issues:1. I had to order a size up because the width near the end of my foot was too narrow. However, the length was perfect, so by ordering a size up for better width I now have to walk with boots that are slightly too long - I've been accidentally kicking into things. I've never had a width issue with any other shoes before (any brand).2. Slight 'poking' sensation in one of the boots near the ankle. Will need to investigate this further.3. I wish it had better arch support; I've tried on sneakers from Ecco that did a better job.

Style and Function - Just what I wanted!
These shoes are just what I wanted them to be. I was looking for a boot that was functional outdoors, but also would look good with jeans or in an everyday setting. These definitely fit the bill. For extensive hiking, I would definitely break them in beforehand. They are just slightly heavier than other hiking boots I have, but not unbearable. I didn't have an issue with the sizing, but I also don't experience weather below 20 degrees, so I rarely have a need for a thick sock. I typically wear a size 8 and these fit just fine at that size. The stone color is beautiful and looks just as pictured. Can't wait to give these a shot on a day long hike!

Sizing wrong for me
Love boots. Measured my foot & bought my uk38 size 7-7.5 merrell. Could barely get on & getting off was painful. Don't think style matches my foot.

Great boot
Have them in grey and i love them... So i bought this colour too. Perfect fit (i have a thin leather insole though), prefect style, waterproof... Good for hiking or walking in the city.

Best boots ever!
These boots are fantastic! So comfy and extremely warm. Best I've ever bought.

Shoes were rather dirty when I received them
Shoes were rather dirty when I received them. Same size in all my other Ecco shoes unfortunately didn't work out with these ones. Way too big, roomy and just different in size to all the Eccos I had before. Generally they look like a good make but really - try them on in a shop otherwise you have to spend 9.00 £ for sending them back

Awesome but order a size up
Love these boots. Very comfortable and look even better than in the picture. Definitely glad I ordered a size up though.
