How long until their colors come in?

For male it took 1-2 month. For female the same, but female not too colorful.

Is this price ($80) per fish?

No 8 fish per order took them about six months to look like the picture need lots of plants in tank these fish are shy and hide unless your feeding. Don't pay over $30 for eight fish.

Can these be placed in a community tank with guppies & platies?

These are non-aggressive and I keep them in a community tank with neocaridina shrimp.

When they were small, I fed them brushed up tetra flake food. Now that they are bigger, they just eat flake floating food
