I received this at no discount, so this is a frank review. I would've given this 5 stars, as spider plants are awesome and really help to purify the air, but unfortunately one of the two spider plants that arrived in the package died after a week (yellowed up and rotted). Both plants were small, and due to the lack of sunlight while shipping were a bit pale which was understandable.When I checked the soil/root ball of the dead spider plant, it turns out that the roots had broken off at the base of the leaves, which I'm guessing was a transportation/transplantation of the seedling issue.On the other hand, the spider plant that was fortunate enough to make it is thriving months later. It's in my bedroom, and there is a very noticeable difference in the quality of air between my bedroom and the rest of the apartment. I'm gonna give most of the credit to the spider plant, although I do have a few other smaller plants (cayenne pepper, zebra succulent, kalanchoe) in my bedroom. I also just set it up as a hanging plant today, which reminded me to write this review. Now I'm just hoping I'll recoup my loss of a spider plant with mini spiderlets sometime in the future :)

I love plants and I am trying to bring more of nature inside to help purify the air. This was an item I chose because it was topped the list of plants that NASA deemed to be effective in removing pollutants and chemicals. Although I love my plant, only one of the two that was shipped survived. However, the one that survived is doing quite well. Upon delivery I knew that one of the items was not going to fare as well as it did not look like it was doing very well. I had ordered plants from another supplier at the same time I ordered this and the comparison in packing was very sad. These plants were not packaged with care and I am disappointed in that. Bottom line, these are awesome plants but I would think twice before ordering it online and from this 9Greenbox seller again.

Plants came in well packed and well rooted, ready to go.

They all came very quickly and in good condition. I always give them a few days to breathe before I re-pot. This is my second time purchasing from this company and have had very good luck with them. Oddly- two looked like my first shipment and the other two were quite tall without the white stripe through the leaves. NBD - just an interesting aside. I am quite pleased with these plants. They are beautiful, lush and healthy, I always check for bugs, because I don't want an infestation and as usual they were clean of bugs. Couldn't say enough great things about this company.

One of them died within a week, the other one looked like it was too, but it is coming around now. Was surprised they were so small, I was hoping they would be bigger. Will not buy again. [email protected]

The spider plants arrived packed in plastic bags and shoved in a box. The moisture level had basically killed one of the two. The other was in rough shape, having several leaves damaged.On the positive side, the plant that survived has thrived with replanting and a little TLC. It’s now growing fine and looking typical of a young spider plant.

Took them out of the box, popped them in some potting soil and in a couple weeks, BOOM! They doubled in size and are looking healthy.
