Easy to set up and well made.
After using snoots for years, I wanted to try something with a wider area so I thought I'd try these. They didn't disappoint. Nice and lightweight - but sturdy. Easy to attach to the strobes and the gel filters and they stay in place with the perfect amount of play in the doors so they'll move to the exact position required and stay there.Unlike previous gel filters I'd used when the blues always looked washed out, these blues are nice and vibrant, as are the other colours provided.Very pleased with this and highly recommended.

Falls out very easily
This would be a great product if it could have been able to stay in place. It falls out if you try to raise the light and angle it down. So has to always bare that in mind. A bit of designing would have sorted this issue.

The barn doors are ok and pretty solid but the fittings poor
The barn doors themselves are well made and nicely designed especially with the honeycomb etc but fitting them to my standard Godox reflector was poor, I had to bend one of the lips to even catch the edge of the reflector at all. The only thing to let these down is the most important bit, the fitting to the reflector.

Poor build quality and design
These do not fit correctly on a standard reflector. I found the rear of these, where they are supposed to clip on to the reflector, to be too large. The metal arm which is supposed to secure them to the reflector sat too far away to actually secure them, meaning they came away easily. The gel colours are surrounded by metal. They slot into place at the bottom of the barn doors and then are secured by magnets at the top. But the design is such that there is a gap between the gel holder and the aperture. This allows unfiltered light to pass through from the studio strobe. There is also no easy way of changing the gels without either removing the barn doors from the reflector or using a narrow implement to force the gels off - and thus risk damaging them.Overall these are very poor indeed, and I question whether these are even genuine Godox barn doors.
