FTCE Professional Education Book and Online Study Guide Edition

This book is riddled with mistakes. I've been studying it for two days and I've found four confirmed errors. Several of the practice questions are poorly written and the explanation are unclear. I bought this and two others by the publisher on a recommendation and I'm returning the other two. Unfortunately I've written in this one so I'll have to make do, but I have to watch for mistakes, typos, and misinformation while I try to study for this important exam.

All of the XAM guides are very poorly written, unedited for errors, and lack much of the information you will need for the FTCE exams. There are so many grammatical errors that I stopped counting (and this in a TEST GUIDE), inaccuracies in historical dates, and many of the test questions were not even covered in the guides! Furthermore, the practice test questions are written at a middle school level, while the actual exam questions are written at a graduate student level. This is rather terrifying when you sit for the exam and all the sudden, the questions are worded intelligently!!! I passed the PET by luck; I had to guess on numerous items that were not covered AT ALL in these guides. Unfortunately, I bought all three XAM guides before knowing what a waste of my money they would be. All the other students in my class have offered the same opinion on XAM guides. I recommend using Kapl'an, Cliff Notes, and REA study guides. These contain ALL the information included on the exams, are not full of errors, and have practice tests written at a college level. I have taken and passed the PE, GK exams for Florida, by the way. I also utilize PRAXIS study guides by Cliff and Kaplan: very helpful! I have written a letter to the director of my university and will also be writing a letter to XAM to express my disappointment. I really would like my money back. I did not even use the guides for. My second and third exams. From a VERY dissatisfied customer!

The book is great. I took the test yesterday and passed!

The professional education book states that it has 3 assessments but it only has one. :( For the elementary education it states the same thing and it does have 3 assessments.
