Used reciprocating saw to cut the hole (used drill with drill bit to make a starter cut for the saw) so it looks a little rough around the edges but it did the job- will smooth out with sand paper before I paint eventually. Also- the bit you will need for the bolt holes is bigger than the instructions state FYI.It looks pretty cute esp with their little snoots pressed up against it in the mornings.

Very easy to install , no instructions provided but simple to figure out. The bolts are too long with the nut caps for my regular wood fence thickness, check the thickness before cutting the hole. My dog loves it, it's the first place he looks when he goes outside. Great price and value. I have a second one to install!

This was smaller than anticipated, I ended up returning it. I didn’t actually measure the product received, but seemed the outside dimension was listed and the bubble was not as deep as I hoped for space.Doesn’t seem like a bad product, for my application it didn’t work.

Got it this morning. Opened it then headed for Ace.1- No instructions and photos in ad are not clear.2- Ad shows phillips bolts in installation photos. Came with carriage bolts that are too long for combined thickness of product and my standard cedar fencing.3- Black rings do not have adhesive backing...no big deal. Should have two rings per globe to make more finished installation.4- When my neighbor installed hers she cracked the edge of the acrylic globe tightening the bolts. Suggest buying a few rubber or nylon washers to absorb pressure.Too soon to comment on installation and durability.

These were very easy to install. We did have to buy different nuts for them, but were fine otherwise. Our dogs absolutely LOVE them!! We're very happy with the product and so are our pups.

The bolts are for fences or pickets that are at least 1.5” thick which is almost none of them. They are way too long.How can this ad say that its "easy to install on any fence" and then the bolts don't fit?The end cap to the bolts can’t screw in past the tip of the bot so it won’t clamp all the way on the pickets. You'd need every picket to be a 2x4 for these to fit.I’m honestly floored, total waste of time. What is this company smoking?

My dogs no longer try to dig under the fence to see what's on the other side. I ordered two so the pups could each look out one. I'm not sure who likes it more, myself, the dogs, or the people that pass by the house and see them looking out!
