Jumpstart 2020 Booster Box | Magic: The Gathering | 24 Booster Packs | 20 Cards Per Pack Including Basic Land Cards

Was worried about buying a booster box from Amazon as there are many horror stories of people getting resealed product, but this one was legit. We got Well-Read theme with a Rhystic Study, definitely was not tampered with as that card would have easily been snatched up. Besides that, 20/24 packs were unique and no doubles. This is a great way to get a lot of jumpstart packs to start a cube with.

I’ll never participate in the traditional predatory booster model. But this just lets me open 2 half decks, smash them together, and immediately play. And we’ve had some pretty fun decks.I’m a casual player. I just play with my wife. So if you’re a pro, I dunno. But if you just want to try magic, this is pretty much the perfect way to do it. You can play your decks, pick your favorite cards, and build a deck, or just play them out of the box or with slight modifications. I hope they never stop making this product.

This set has such a huge number of great cards and, make for an awesome jumpstart game. The price was awesome and the value in this set is better than most other sets. Dom remastered is prob still the best set for both drafting and value but, this is up there.

Ordered three boxes of these to play with friends. You can play them right out of the packs, and it’s a good way to teach new players too. Or you can do like I did and sleeve them up and keep them bundled together as they come in the factory sealed packs. That way you can mash a couple together and play, and then separate them and put them back for next time.There are forty-something possible decks, and some are much rarer than others. I got most of them out of three boxes. I’m kind of treating it like a MtG board game. For the best bang for your buck, play some matches with friends as you open the packs, and then have those friends separate them again so they can be re-played.If you’re looking for specific singles, like the Allosaurus Shepherd, then buy singles. But if you’re looking to play an incredibly fun format, then buy packs!

I ordered two boxes of JumpStart from Amazon in two separate orders about a week or so apart. The first box was great. It arrived on its own, not packaged inside a brown box, and I was initially worried about that, however it turned out to be in good condition. I got some great cards from that box. I was pleasantly surprised as it seemed to have a lot of good value. The second box arrived slightly damaged and I may be crazy, but it seems like it was gutted of value. It was so drastically different from the first one. Very few "good" cards were retrieved from that second box. I usually try to support my local game stores, but often times their prices are way too far above and beyond the value of the box itself. Amazon has better prices, but their boxes can be a bit sketchy.

This is a fantastic set and concept. It's a great way to sit down and play, especially with people not experienced with drafting or deck building. I'm torn on the inclusion of lands, since most players are already flush with them but that's hardly a strike against this product.Let's hope if they ever do a 3rd+ Jumpstart they follow the pattern here.

Super easy. Open 2 packs, shuffle and start playing. Great way to get some Rare and Mythic cards too. Good way to teach a new player or ease back into Magic The Gathering if it's been a while. This is less time consuming than opening a bunch of booster packs and making a deck. That is a lot of fun. Good compromise when limited on time.

We got some high value cards from this box! More than what we paid for the box. Had a really fun date night opening with my partner and a lot of other useful cards to put into our decks!
