Transport Travel Straps for Dumbbells – Only Compatible with Bowflex SelectTech 552 Adjustable Dumbbells with Fitness Dial - Cradle Base to Dumbbell – Carry and Storage

I bought these straps to carry my 552 bases wherever I wanted to train, making switching weights easier.These are not terribly bad, as other reviewers have pointed out. but they are missing about 2 inches of strap for the bottom part. This makes installation an unnecesary hassle, as you're left with about half an inch of strap at the bottom to insert into the buckle, and preventing the velcros to hook up. There are already pictures of that here, so I won't post any.Thanksfully, these bands are just to hold the plastic part, which is practically weightless. The top strap, which actually holds the dummbell is perfectly sized.The instructions don't make the process easier, because they assume the straps are perfectly sized... and are poorly written, IMO. They only help a little.If they upgrade these to manage that imperfection, they are perfect. Those who complain about the straps being thin or weak... THESE ARE NOT TO HOLD THE WEIGHT OF THE DUMBBELLS.Packaging is nice, though.I only give this product 3 stars, because I even started the return process, but after reading the reviews, I figured these out. I don't think these are a bad product. If they fix the short strap thing, they are good to go.

I bought this product to be able to carry my dumbells around as one unit. They do exactly that, however the instructions to install them are very confusing. There are a couple of instruction steps about the velcro strips. They make no sense as I have not been able to figure out what use they provide. None of them line up with any of the others except for the top one. Perhaps a YouTube video describing the installation would be helpful. Comments about the strength of the straps are off base. The straps are very strong. All they have to lift is the plastic base.

This is a great product! The straps are a simple solution for when you want to move your weights around for travel, or even just from one part of the house to another. The straps are well made and an attractive design (the red and black from the SelectTech 552s), but still blend in pretty well.I actually don't travel with my SelectTech weights very often because it seemed like too much work to move the weights and cradles to the car, then to the hotel room, etc. But this will make it much simpler. And there have been days when the weather was nice and I was tempted to take my workout outside, but it always felt like too much effort and time involved to move the weights. However, this will make it much easier.The price is really inexpensive and such a great solution, even if just to move the weights occasionally! I'm very impressed!"Beast Mode on the Go!!!"

For the price, I can’t really expect much.1. The straps are rather thinner than I would have expected. My guess is that they’ll eventually be worn out, depending on how often you carry them.2. Setting up was confusing. The buckle was engaged, but connected to the straps on one side only. Took a while to understand how the velcro straps are connected. Even then, using velcro to secure the straps is a poor idea.I do like, however, that all you have to do is unbuckle the straps and that’s it.We’ll see how this goes.

I was skeptical after opening the box but after installing they're pretty legit. A little thin and perhaps not the best choice with velcro tie downs but we'll see how they do. The straps bowflex weights come with are a NIGHTMARE to try and get back on and as someone who moves every 3-4yrs these are well worth the price.

Good additional item With bowflex dumbbells..Would have been better if The strap was mote thick.

I have a pair of bowflex 552. The straps that came with these dumbbells didn't work. The Transport Travel Straps for Dumbbells do a great job, easy to use/install.

Straps are too small to fit around the weights. Had to return them and wasn’t ready for my moveTried many different ways, both following instructions and testing other setups
