Huawei E6878-370 5G, CAT 19, Portable Mobile Wi-Fi ProI have just changed my iPhone to the 12 Mini - with 5G capability.It was then I realised that 5G was available at my location.I checked the EE website for signal in my location - and my house is just off the area they say that 5G is available to. Two masts about three miles away.And I think they are correct - at the other end of my Bungalow the 5G signal is not available.Where it does work is on a windowsill with a complete view across fields for at least two miles.So - I got this new Router today and it had 60% charge.I inserted my EE nano Sim and powered it up.It did an over the air update; and whilst waiting I downloaded the App to my iPhone.The Router detected my EE card automatically and the display showed a 5G connection.I followed the prompts on the App to setup the Password and WiFi name etc etc.All so simple.Router indoors on the windowsill. Powered off and then on again. Connected to its network with my iPhone and ran a speedtest; time 18.30.BOOM.............240Mbps I tried it a few times over a few hours and it was fairly consistent.I took the Router to the end of my garden. Ran a speedtest - 580Mbps.............Four weeks ago I purchased the Netgear Nighthawk M2 that is 4G only. The best speed I could ever get was 70Mbps - This is now up for sale on eBay.Wireless charging is a bonus on the Router a couple of clicks on the power switch turns it on and it wirelessly charges my iPhone and Apple ear pods.So far a great experience. I purchased a cheap zip case sold for iPhone X size and fits perfect.A great looking device - decent battery - 5G - dual WiFi bands - wireless charging.HappySo far

This is a review of the Huawei 5G AF9E outdoor boosting 5G antenna, not the router.To be honest, my signal isn't that bad generally, but I thought that I'd give it a bit of a boost - I'm in a flat with a balcony, so instead of putting the router on the window ledge, I decided to try this as an alternative.It makes next to no difference - that's all really. It's easy enough to install, but either there is something wrong with it, or it's a waste of time, money and effort.Other people may have a better experience than me, so don't just take my word for it.

Great device, get the best out of 4G and best on 5G. And achieves amazing speed when you have good signal. My only gripe is that when signal is low, it struggles to connect and give WiFi. It appears it needs specific minimum signal strength before it can give out WiFi.

I recently moved into a new property where I could get 5g signal via mobile but my mobile phone company would not provide me with broadband as officially there was no 5g in my area yet. Normal home broadband providers would also not install any Internet as the local telecoms company who does installations does not believe my property exists yet.This allowed me to buy a new sim card with unlimited data, plug it in and have home 5g speed home broadband (double the speed of what i would habe had installed) instantly for 1/3 of the cost of home broadband.Cost is high I guess for a router but for what I needed it was perfect. Definitely recommend if your in a 5g area.

Brought product in November 2021 to add smart technology capability to my disabled sisters room at her care home.Device worked perfect and resolved a lot of connectivity issues until two weeks ago when I got a report from the care home that the device was overheating and the screen had shattered.I called Huawei to get technical support and see about getting a repair/replacement - Huawei brushed me off saying that they didn’t supply support for the device despite the warranty card giving me all the relevant contact details in the UK.. was told to contact Amazon which is where my tale of woe begins - online chat support didn’t seem to understand the issues I faced but eventually sent out a returns pick-up from UPS - the device was picked up and returned to Amazon on Tuesday 5th July - apparently the same device is no longer stocked by Amazon so I was expecting a refund in order that I could purchase an equivalent replacement - image my surprise to find that despite the device being acknowledged as delivered to the returns department that Amazon then announce that it will take 14-30 days for the return to be logged and then a further 14 days for the amount to be credited to my account. I raised the point with Amazon that if I had taken the device back into a shop that I would have got an instant refund based on handling over the device - this point seems to be totally incomprehensible to Amazon customer service and I am fobbed off waiting for the return to be processed and refunded - in the meantime my disabled sister is without the smart technology we put in place because of Amazons inflexible returns policy. I asked for a senior manager to call me but you guessed it no call….Don’t rely on warranties and guaranties from Amazon - they are meaningless …

Its now being used on my samsung ru7400 tv in network settings NOT ONCE HAS THE SIGNAL DROPPED OR EVEN AT PEAK TIMES BUFFERS CONTINUOUSLY I can say its pricey for the money but its the latest and best current tech its future proof and its portable all I can say is its great but then i feel it could have been adapted with extras etc a small torch small leds for battery and wifi capacity but other than that its worth it 16 devices can be connected the only thing I cannot find is how far away can devices be used from it before signal loss im sure it will be quite far as for me im happy no more buffering

This item is GREAT . Low internet speed use this item .Went from 10mps to 200+mps. and 5G most of the time now. Well worth every penny.
