Piper is back and she is amazing!
Oh, how I loved this book... It was my favourite in the series. I waited for it for months and it was so worth the wait because once I got it, I realised it was better than anything I hoped for. I inhaled it in one breath. The way the story develops is freaking amazing. The author managed to give the readers the other side of the story, from a different perspective, and include the clans not involved in the other side. She also created another set of amazing characters and interlaced their story with the original one. So freaking fantastic! So this continues the story of Piper and her new tribe as well as Paradise and some very new additions that were an absolute delight. And the story happens during the previous book, so we get to see some of the scenes from Piper's perspective. As I said, this was my favourite in the series. And Piper is so amazing, I love her character so much. Her story just gets better and better, and she gets better and better. Her group dynamics are somewhat different, and it takes them a while to achieve the harmony, but they are so funny together and there is a lot of love among them. This is such an amazing series, written by such an amazing author, I just want it to go on forever. I hope there will be more books, because I need them desperately.Books are best read in order, which is: The Wasteland (Their Champion Book 1), The Summit (Their Champion Book 2), The Forgotten (Their Champion Companion Novel 1), The Cities (Their Champion Book 3), and The Lost (Their Champion Companion Novel 2).

Book besties and book boyfriends galore
I’ve never loved and connected quite so perfectly with a character as I have with Piper. She’s broken but brave, imperfect, but willing to learn and grow. Her story isn’t always pretty, but Piper never gives up.The thing this book has in spades is heart. When lesser authors would let their characters languish in cynicism, Knight makes sure Piper and the gang feels their hurts, their struggles, and their fears, but she also doesn’t define them by those events. She lets them shape and change her characters, but it gives them a vulnerability that is so refreshing, rather than a hard exterior.Knight is a master at weaving complex, flawed characters that you can’t help but root for. Piper’s story, and Worth’s from which it spun off, are some of the best characters I’ve ever read.Oh, and if you’re looking for a new book boyfriend, I’ve already called dibs on all of Piper’s guys. Which brings me to my next point I’ve got to gush about. Knight writes amazing male characters that somehow manage to be both alpha personalities and unapologetic feminists. They stand beside and behind the female main characters, protecting them, sure, but more importantly, cheering them on and not standing in the way of her greatness. In a genre that can easily glorify appalling men, Piper’s guys should be the gold standard. Now if only I could find my own Archel and Jago.

Love love love this book!!!
PIPER!!!!! I have missed Piper and her special brand of crazy. She's so frigging amazing!!!!! I'm having trouble expressing how much I loved this story. Piper is evolving, growing and i just love her for it. She tackles every new hurdle with humour and backbone. I also promise hot hot hot scenes with her men. I especially love her first meeting wit Worth. There are twists, turns and surprises awaiting the reader. So hurry up and get this fabulous book!!!!Favourite quote:"It was the boobs that brought you back, right? Had to search the world for these handfuls of happiness?"

So in love with this series 😍
Piper is one of my favorite characters of all time. She is badass, not afraid to be herself, quirky, and there are just so many things about her that I find endearing. Normally in Rh books I still end up picking a guy and being team that guy (I know I know, I should always be #whychoose and I am but I still have my favorites). In this book I am team Piper all the way. She would be an amazing best friend so #bookbestfriend.Other than my love of Piper, this book was damn good. It had character development up the wazoo and a story line that progressed at the perfect speed to keep me interested without feeling rushed.

Prepare for war
I stumbled into this series because I LOVE Knight. And this series so far has not disappointed me. It's action packed, weird, quirky, and just so amazing to read. This book, Piper has to become a stronger person and find herself. She has to become sure of her decisions and make difficult choices. The only thing I don't really like is Worth. I'm too in love with Piper's character to want to like a "Queen". But I love the trust and the other cities we get to see. It's the adventure she wanted

Great read
I read this before the main series. Easy enough to pick up the thread combining them.Piper is sass, but not over the top all the time. Her character is well balanced and really enjoyable. I love the way the author has brought her men together, loving her new mountain man. Well written and definitely worth the read. Looking forward to book 3

Amazing continuation
I loved Piper in the first book and this book just made me love her even more. Between the sass and no filter I laughed so much. The guys were awesome and we finally get to see what happens with Evan. Add in the mountain man and I am excited to see what the next book has in store.

It can’t possibly end there
These books suck you in and won’t let you go. The way the author writes is both brutal but honest anf well thought out. Doesn’t skim over healing or failing. Her hero’s aren’t perfect and mistakes are made. It makes it all the more relatable.Anyway … um this can’t just end like this.
