Because the holder keeps the blade curved it does not cut very well.

Other products such as a scalpel or just a razor blade can do the same job, but this is a specialised, dedicated tool and it does work well. Although it's rather expensive for what it is, it's still the best tool for the job. The blade is tricky to remove (in fact I still haven't figured how to do it) but I don't know if I will ever have to replace it, so it's not a serious problem.

Not tested as the proofing basket I ordered to make the bread to use the cutter on did not arrive, but it appears to be what I might have needed

Only had a few weeks the cheap tin blade has gone rusty even after being kept drynow blunt and will not slashTOTAL RUBBISH DO NOT BUY, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Arrived rusty and blunt. Not sure what this product could be used for but baking and bread making it is useless.

I know it was cheap , but it is very poor quality. The blade isnt sharp enough to cut through dough cleanly.

Really awful. Took forever to arrive and when it did the blade was covered in rust. Thrown it in the bin in disgust.

This is appalling and dangerous. Cheap plastic and something like a razor blade. DON’T BUY IT!!!
