Very easy to assemble and is actually pretty durable. Only thing I would add that is back is flat. However, that works well if your putting it against a flat. In my case it was in the open area of my pole barn.

When the barrel arrived, I was skeptical of how flat the top is and whether or not water would just run off of it. To my surprise one good rain filled it and the overflow worked well too. The barrel itself is made of much sturdier material than our old one. I’m really considering purchasing another.

Very happy with the rain barrel. Solid, sturdy, and works as it should. Easy to hook up a hose to use saved water. Would buy another one if I needed one.

I loved my barrel for 3 months and it sprung a leak in back. Called distributor and they replaced it in 2 days . I sent them pics and they were wonderful! Set my new one up right away!!!

These barrels have flat backs which make them easy to place against walls etc. And only 5 gallons less than conventional barrels. They come complete with grate to keep out unwanted fodder and some hardware to daisy chain as many as needed. The provided faucet is helpful too. Easy to do the minor assembly of above parts but to daisy chain, you'll need a drill and bit the appropriate size in addition to a 1" hose. I recommend clear hose. Be sure to level (each) barrel and between each if connecting one or more. I bought two but if the need arrises, Ivwould definately buy more.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this barrel with great hopes for a way to get some good rain water for my plants rather than using hose water that isn't as healthy. Rain barrel arrived and I was extremely excited. Had to wait a week or two for our firat rain and when it finally came I went out to make sure everything was working as it should and was collecting rain water. That's qhen the disappointment arrived. I noticed a leak about an inch above the spicket that causes the barrel to not fill once the water gets to that level just above the spicket (which is at the bottom meaning it doesn't fill more than a few inches). I took video and reached out to amazon/RTS for a replacement and they said I needed to send this barrel back through a UPS store due to its size this would 1. Be a major hassle and is something I can't even do with my vehicle or the fact that UPS is almost 100 miles away. 2. What are they going to do with this barrel that is defective more than im going to be doing with it which was unfortunately take it to the road for the trash collectors. Extremely disappointed they couldn't just send a replacement barrel when i have paid for a working rain barrel. I would highly advise anyone to go with another company that will do quality control before shipping a product or at the very least making it right with the customer if it is received defective. I have ordered thousands of items on Amazon and the few times I have received something incorrectly it has always been handled until now dealing with RTS!!!

Quality flat back rain barrels, and better looking than the basic blues. The mesh at the top filters well enough and the spigot down below is a little slow, but works fine. Has a couple of flat spots on the side for bulkhead fittings, gutter diverters , etc. Great to be able to save rainwater to water my plants in summer.
