You have to have a developer for the dye otherwise it just sits on your hair. This is 100% as good as the more expensive big brand peroxides. It doesn't take longer to work or anything. It's the same viscosity as the big brand ones. And works just as fast. I will be staying with this one in future there's no reason for me to change.
