How did I live without this thing?
Did my landscaping from scratch at our new house and planted a hydrangea tree form for the first time. It always looked wilty and so like any landscaper does, I watered it, fertilizesd it, talked to it lovingly, etc. lol The inner leaves started turning yellow and falling off and put me in a frenzy.Google says check water levels and light levels. I need something to measure both. Came upon this gadget and ordered. Unpack it and stick it into the ground and the meter instantly flings all the way over to 10 on the water scale! Turns out I had been drowning the thing to death!!! I have been checking the tree every 2 days with the meter since I got it on 8/8 and I had to water the tree for the first time yesterday. Very disappointed in myself as i'm not a newbie to landscaping and I feel like I should have known lol But alas, this thing saved the day!

Broken soil probe - less than two months - POTENTIAL SCAM ALERT - HARRASMENT FROM SELLER
One of the soil probes broke after less than 2 months of use. Only used it in potted plants, but the probes are not built sturdy enough. They bend easily inserting the probes into the soil. After repeated use, the probes will stretch apart, and they will break near the top of the probe.Buy another product. As,far as I have seen and tested its accurate.
A good, inexpensive 3 in 1. I've tested it against different wet and dry soils and it's accurate. I always tested ph by using vinegar because all of my soils were registering alkaline. It jumped to acid once i put the vinegar in. Also ive seen multiple garden videos where they use this in. I do wish there was a little more detailed directions and maybe some tips and info. As far as the light goes idk what is a good range or bad, all i can tell from the gauge is,of its dark or light , which is good for placememt of inside plants, but i wish they added what the rights amount for the differnt shade, sun , part what plants need. I looked up online and couldn't find anything. I also thought this would help for my outside plants as far as sun goes , but unless yoy go outside and put it wjerr you might need all day long to get measurement for the anount of sun each spot in my yard gets. Maybe i could chart it. Well anyways great price, and product seems accurate.

for the serious gardener. My wife loves this device.
Helps keep your plants at the proper moisture level as well as the soil at the correct PH level.

This inexpensive gadget is a valuable little tool
I was a little skeptical that this plant monitor would be useful, but I thought for the price, it would be worth a try. I am known for accidentally killing many indoor plants, mostly due to overwatering. Not anymore. It measures soil pH, light and moisture. No batteries. Just stick it into the soil for your reading. We also used it for our outdoor plants last summer. I bought another one around Christmas time for a stocking stuffer. This would be a great addition to add to a bucket or basket of gardening tools as a gift.

Good value
Easy to use, simple to use. Just remember don't let your kids use it on dry soil.

Works perfectly. Very handy.
We keep this at the ready for houseplants and outdoor plants. The 3 settings are great. Use the moisture setting the most. The pH next. Very handy!
