Cold Steel Heavy Duty Cane

I have been purchasing Cold Steel products for many many years. Always a great buy! The mixture of history and current day battle ready weapons and just amazing designs from some of the great soldiers and tactical geniuses. The very perfect and pricey to the powerful replica with amazing affordability. The use of grivory and other indestructible polymer with steel beautiful steel. From high carbon to vanadium plus other Damascus and..... materials are still incredible and unrivaled. I have tried to create a collection of swords that are from machete to the best sword steel available. But the other part of Cold Steel that makes this unique company so amazing is found in items like this walking stick or cane. This is not a cane with a knife or weapon incorporated into the design. This is a lightweight and still super strong walking stick made with the simple and awesome materials for a great functional cane that is also practically indestructible. I am always tempted to add one of the canes that do include a weapon of great quality and strength; but it’s not something that is legal for use outside and therefore can never really be used or shown off. Certain states are cool with many more tactical and covert additions to a basic item like this cane. If I could add them to my Cold Steel precious pieces I would. But this is not a weapon pretending to be a cane. It’s just a great walking stick that is much more powerful and able to keep my big self walking easier when needed. I recommend this cane for anyone who wants a great one that is made with the massive skill of all Cold Steel products.

I was fully prepared to hate this cane and send it back. It's not the most attractive cane out there, and the handle looks funny. When I 1st tried it though, I was surprised at how light it was and how well it fit into my hand. I have seen mixed info about this cane, but what I get overall is that it is a sturdy cane that will not flex when the big boys use it. It's not meant to be a weapon or "tactical"... BUT I am now carrying a metal pole around with me now every where I go. It's pretty sturdy and would do well as a defensive weapon in a pinch. It's tapered slightly with a shorter rounded nylon handle, and the only place for a strap is a forward hole on the handle. I'm 6'3 and the height is perfect for me. It can be cut down if need be.It was an easy transition from a standard Walmart adjustable cane to this beefy boy for me. Do I feel safer? Yeah, I guess so. Do I feel like this will be a good cane that will stand up to the day to day rigors of life? Absolutely 💯Update!! I was walking my mini dachshund and had two VERY LARGE German Shepherds run up on me off leash. I picked up my dog and grabbed this cane like the metal pole that it is and told them to go home. The big one thought about it a little longer, but turned and left after his buddy fled. I ordered a decent strap and put foam grip on it at the top so I can swing it it a lot easier and not drop it. I LOVE THIS CANE!

I have severe drop foot and use a cane for balance. This cane is stable and very sturdy. Minus one star as the tip wore through in a few days, I replaced with one I ordered on the internet and it has lasted months. Also did not like the placement of the hole in the handle for a lanyard. Still like and use the cane over others. It feels like it could take some serious abuse and not fail. Price was decent for build quality.

I got this to make me feel better on longer walks and hikes. What I like about it is that it feels light but also feels durable. I walked to the lake and back from my house which is about a 1/2 mile each way on the first day with it. It is light enough for me to carry easily too but it was nice when I hit a spot where I felt tired. I weigh 380 lbs and I'm trying to exercise more. Also something is messed up on my left side and it slows me down sometimes. This makes me feel more secure.

i recommend this cane! it was too tall for me. however, i knew that when i bought it. i have discovered my ideal height from using other adjustable canes. i simply used a tubeing cutter to create the right length. sanding away burrs and sharp edges so it won't cut it's way through the tip over time. the cane is hollow with very thick high durability aluminum, like what one might find on a bicycle. for the price this might be the best cane available to most people. i don't expect to try and use this for anything except it's stated purpose. if i ever did need a cane for more defensive reasons this would be a great choice. all that asside this is a superb affordable sold good feeling and looking cane. buy it! best wishes! 👋

Best cane I have found. Elderly man needs cane. Cold Steel to my rescue! Thank you Cold Steel. I’m too old to defend myself with it, but I might try given the right circumstance.

Cane is nice however the handle is too small for a man’s grip. I am 6’ tall and cane is too long for me. I will need to cut it down if I decide to keep it.

Sturdy cane made of steel and soft foam handle. Provides excellent stability and ease of use. It’s all black and looks somewhat like a piece of black pipe but does its job flawlessly. Good value for the price and very well made. Highly recommend as a basic walking cane.
