This is the best ID holder I've used. The rest of the holder was in great shape when the plastic around the hole broke. If they reinforced this area then it would make it last much longer.

I've had this thing for a year-and-a-half, and after about three months the heat shrink on the back, the stuff that prevents you from getting choked out, started to get loose. Eventually leading to the point where it would randomly come disconnected and drop my badge in the hallway. This culminated in me losing my credentials, my very expensive to replace credentials, in the middle of the parking lot as I was walking to my car. Thanks.

I'm forced to wear an ID everyday in my current job. In the past I used a different break away type lanyard but never found it comfortable plus the ID always spun so half the time you saw the back not the front of the card. This unit is very well designed, has room in the back for an additional ID, etc, is comfortable to wear and the ID stays forward as it should. Great breakaway system and I like that I can disconnect it right at the holder if need be for key access. Great design you will not be disappointed!

So far, so good. Only things I dont' like about the product are that the plastic loop hole for the neck band is a little thin on the top and the emergency break away for the neck loop is a one and done. So if it gets pulled off of your neck it isn't easily re-connectable. The actual card slots are great and very secure. Even though the cards slid in from the bottom, there is no threat of them falling out, and the slots easily accommodate my id for the front and access card for the back. I recommend buying it.**UPDATE DEC 20th 2017: The tabs that keep the card in are just about to break any day now, so the item lasted literally about a year.

Caveat, I had no need for the clear waterproof pouch that was included, so I took it off and tossed it in a drawer. It's heavy plastic, and I assume it works if you have something paper/cardboard and credit-card sized that you need to carry safely, but it doesn't really integrate with the lanyard, it just hangs off of it.I've been required to wear an ID card all day, every day, visible and above the waist, at several places I've worked as a contractor over a period of decades. Some are stricter than others. In many places the actual picture ID and the card that opens doors are separate, so a capacity of two is the minimum.At a glance this seems obvious overkill for the vast majority of workers at such places, but it actually works noticeably better than the several others I've used over the years. It is not perfect, and has limitations- it will only carry up to two thin plastic cards of a certain size, one on each side- but within those limitations it's easily the best I've used.The cord seemed ridiculously thick and heavy at first (compared to most civilian/"consumer" badge lanyards) but I quickly became fond of its resistance to tangling when stuffed away, which is a continual problem with others. It can still tangle a little, but not nearly as badly as the thin flimsy ones. Along those lines, the heavy cord and lack of swivels tends to keep the correct side visible and saves the time and embarrassment of being brought to an abrupt halt because you showed the back of the card by mistake. The safety release is simple, works well, seems neither too easy or too hard to pop or reset, doesn't seem prone to wear out and weaken as I've experienced with some plastic versions, and is an indispensable feature, every lanyard should have one. There also are NO metal parts to slow your progress through checkpoints, which is an obvious problem that many seem to miss- they may not have enough metal to set off the detectors by themselves, but added to whatever is around your neck (dogtags?) or in you collar (glasses) it can be just enough to make the difference (I won't go into the bigger issues of whether a population that's becoming increasingly metal-and-tool-phobic can really compete and survive in the long run). Cards can be inserted and removed easily and instantly, but have no tendency to come out on their own.it costs a little, but you quickly forget that. It just makes some routine daily hurdles a bit easier. Unlike every previous badge lanyard I've used, I can say that if I lost this I'd just order another immediately, I wouldn't even consider going back to the cheapies permanently.

I bought this one to replace one that I had used every day for 4 years. If you work on a military base or any other place where a separate ID or pass is required, then you know how irritating it is to be fumbling around with your wallet or wherever else you have your ID badge while the guard is staring at you. With this I can quickly access my ID and all my hand movements are clearly visible to the guard. I also should mention that the plastic is quite strong. Mine came into contact with an aggressive chemical and actually went almost a year after that before it started to crack apart.

Ich bin dienstlich auf so einen Dienstausweislanyard bzw. eine Dienstausweismäppchen angewiesen, da ich meinen Dienstausweis beim Zugang auf das Dienstgelände vorzeigen bzw. an eine elektronische Schleuse halten muss. Das bedeuted, dass der Dienstausweis immer zur Hand sein muss, ohne dass ich ihn umständlicherweise aus meine Portemonnaie oder Rucksack rausstöbern muss. Bei meinen bisherigen Ausweislanyards hatte ich immer die befürchtung, dass der Ausweis bei ruckartigen Bewegungen herausfallen könnte. Das ist bei dem Blackhawk nun so gut wie ausgeschlossen, wie ich erfahren habe. Der Ausweis liegt einfach bombenfest in der Halterung.Für meine Bedürfnisse ist das Blackhawk Lanyard perfekt, da ich so meinen Ausweis immer am Hals tragen kann und nicht fürchten muss ihn zu verlieren.Außerdem muss man einfach sagen, dass er optisch wesentlich besser aussieht als alles andere was ich bisher gesehen habe. Ich habe mein Lanyard übrigens nicht Hochformat sondern im Querformat ausgerichtet, das ist aber jedem überlassen.Was mir persönlich auch sehr wichtig ist, ist dass mein Dienstausweis sich durch die Bauweise des Blackhawk nicht ständig dreht, sodass die Rückseite meines Dienstausweises zu sehen ist, es also auf der falschen Seite liegt, wie es mir bei anderen Lanyard ständig passiert ist.Wem das Blackhawk Lanyard optisch gefällt, sollte zugreifen, da es bei der Funktion keinerlei Beanstandungen gibt. Die richtige Ausstattung für jeden, der immer mehrere Ausweise mit sich rumschleppt und diese ordentlich unterbringen will. Die beiden Enden des Bandes sind mit einer Gummitülle verbunden, was unter Sicherheitsaspekten gut gedacht ist: sollte man mal hängen bleiben, stranguliert einen das Band nicht. sondern öffnet sich an der Gummi-Endung. Andererseits sitzt alles fest genug um sich nicht versehentlich zu öffnen.Man kann den vorderen, schwarzen Ausweishalter auch schnell vom Band abklipsen, beispielsweise wenn man Ausweise vor eine Schließanlage halten muss etc.Ein wirklich perfekt gemachtes Produkt, da wusste jemand, worauf es ankommt.

Ein Jahr alt und schon nicht mehr nutzbar. Grundsätzlich ein gutes Produkt - jedenfalls anfänglich.Allerdings sind bei mir seit meinem Einsatz in Afrika, vermutlich durch die Wärme, die Enden der Kordel, die sowieso von Anfang an eine andere Oberflächenstruktur als der Rest der Kordel aufwiesen, sehr glatt, sodass sie schon bei sehr geringer Belastung aus der Gummihülse rutschen. Dadurch droht ständig der Verlust. Hier besteht aus meiner Sicht Verbesserungsbedarf. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt hier nicht.

Very cool looking and like that keys are attached, little small slot if your id card has card reader attached to it, wont fit had to modify the card. It is joint 2 ends with a rubber tube, it got stuck on side of table and basically broke from the rubber tubing. I put superglue and since then no issues. But i think they could have made it 1 piece or something.

Nutze es für zwei Chip-Karten und bin sehr zufrieden damit. Die Beide Karten halten, ohne die Gefahr des Verlierens. Der verwendete Kunststoff ist stabil. Die Lanyard ist auch stabil und hat ein Sicherheitselement, falls man irgendwo hängen bleibt, damit man nicht stranguliert wird. Die zusätzliche "Folienhülle" habe ich nicht in Verwendung (entfernt), macht aber auch einen sehr guten Eindruck.

Let's face it it holds your ID's and a little more. You could say its a bit expensive for what it is and what it does but it beats the hell out of those cheap lanyards work gives you. I really like the tactical look with this set up.

Der ID-Card-holder ist sehr gut und stabil verarbeitet. Er stört bei tragen überhaupt nicht und ist somit sehr angenehm zu tragen.Absolut empfehlenswert.

Sehr funktional - hält zwar auch nicht ewig. Das tut aber auch kein anderes Produkt in dieser Kategorie. Ist schon mein zweites und ständig in Benutzung- auch an ungewöhnlichen Orten. Kaufempfehlung ist gegeben.
